For our own excursions we are still looking.
We have done this cruise before so the real highlights that we wanted to see and do we have done them already.

We are thinking of:
Grand Cayman:
staying on the ship, strolling around port.
Have seen an Brewery tour that i have to look into further. Something totally different to do...

Costa Maya:
Go see the ruins not sure how (on our own or with DCL).
Maybe just skipp the ruins and go do what we normally never do, a beach break stay...

Cozumel:
Go to the ruins on Cozumel with a DCL excursion or maybe some island tour on our own by renting a cab for a certain time period.

Castaway Cay:
Enjoy the island no activity booked.

The only shore excursions Val & I have signed up for is the Dolphin Encounter at Grand Cayman. In Cozumel, Costa Maya and Castaway Cay we have no special plans.

We will probably do some shopping in Cozumel because Val wants some silver jewelry and Mexico is a big silver producer plus we know that the ship will dock essentially right next to the shopping area. At CC we plan on just doing the beach thing. Probably at Serenity Bay if the weather conditions are good.

Don't have anything planned. Just wandering around the ship. Or wandering around ports. Buy vanilla, and some small gifts.

In Cozumel, I will be leading an excursion to Mega, a giant Walmart type store very close to the pier. Time is to be announced. :cool1:

Hmmm. What is the big attraction? Better prices than Walmart?

They sell some items that you can't find in the US. I won't say what it is since I don't want a mad rush to the item. :rotfl2:

And yes, it's legal.

Grand Cayman:
Discover Native Cayman & the Saltwater Forest

Costa Maya:
Tropicante with a bunch of DISers

Cozumel:
Dolphin Swim at Dolphinaris

Castaway Cay:
(I have 2 scheduled, not sure if I'll keep both or which one if I only keep one; waiting to see what the Podcasters have scheduled for CC before deciding)
Walking and Kayak Nature Adventure
Parasailing

Sayhello

Plans for Lyn and Liz

Grand Cayman:
Singray Sandbar, Coral Gardens and Starfish Snorkel with Native Way. Three hours, $40.

Costa Maya:
Also at Tropicante with a bunch of DISers. Hoping for snorkeling and massage. However, still slightly tempted by runis tour with David and Ivan.

Cozumel:
Palancar & Columbia Reefs snorkeling, also El Cielo with Cozumel Tours. Four hours, $45. Leaves from the Money Bar.

Castaway Cay:
Nothing reserved. Perhaps rent bikes and snorkel gear.

I don't have any set plans at this time. I do speak Spanish if anyone needs an interpreter. :) Mike, your outing sounds interesting to me.

Grand Cayman Island Tour

Tropicante (with other DISers) on Costa Maya

Tacos and Tequila (DCL excursion) on Cozumel

no plans for Castaway Cay

So looking forward to this nice, long cruise!! :lovestruc:beach:

Hmmm, here, too. Within walking distance?
Online descriptions sound like the place we used to shop at in Portugal. Might be somewhere to get those small gifts....

The walk to the Mega store looks very wheelchair accessible by satellite photos and maps. The store itself is on the second floor. There is a moving walkway up to the store (similar to TTA "ramp," but wider), it is unknown whether or not there is wheelchair access into the store itself. If I cannot get into the store, I will just head back to the boat.
