Fantasy March 2-9, 2013 Western Caribbean Meet

We're looking at close to $500 a person!! We have never come close to that.
I was hoping to get them booked before our ADR time opened (we are going to WDW after), but not sure.
We like miles too...........but not sure it is going to work this time.

Carsland :teeth: Can't wait to see it. We go in Dec......luckily we drive to DLR.

Wow! In that case, I certainly would understand switching airlines. I'd switch airlines too if the return flight wasn't so late. To save money (roughly $200 total) the return flight leaves at 7:30 PM. Traveling with such a large group, I can't imagine how we'd bide our time without spending the $200 we were trying to save in the beginning. :rolleyes1

I wish we could drive to Cars Land. I'm sure next year we'll fit it in somehow. DS LOVES Cars!

It doesn't matter which airline.........so far they are all pretty close.
So, if they stay like that, it will come to the best times.
DD wants to do an over night  so we can go to WDW the day before the cruise. We'll see. Only one airline is doing that.

Airfare is still super high from NJ as well. Looking at around $500 as well. :( Still waiting on it all but it is just getting higher and we might just bite the bullet. :( Now....do we get a seat for our not-even-2 year old to save money....although he is already really tall and antsy... That is the question. :)

That's a tough one. On the one hand you can save money by not buying a seat but on the other hand it may be an uncomfortable flight to have him sit on your lap.

Airfare isn't that expensive, although I'm still complaining. I've found airfare for under $200/person but the flight times are just not feasible for us. Even though we'd save a lot of money upfront, I think we'd spend that savings trying to bide our time for a late night flight. Plus, DH has to work the day after we dismebark :sad2: so I wouldn't want to chance him being late by taking a late night flight. So unless something else comes up, we'll be sticking with our original flight times. Either way, we're definitely cruising :cool1:

After weeks of checking several times a day................today I got our airfare!! :yay:
I used Kayak and this morning I saw one I was debating on......decided to think.Went back to check baggage fees and saw a different one for lots less. Better times too and a partner airline.
So we got our air for $270 a person. :woohoo:

We do leave to come home a bit earlier than DD would like, but it is done and I feel so relieved.
Now an ADR for March 1 tomorrow.........at least now I have a time for one ;)

I just booked our ADRs for Feb. 28th and March 1st although we are staying on property those 2 nights. Getting more and more excited.

I've also been watching our airfares from Minneapolis. So far it's gotten down to $327 per person- hoping it gets under $300 and then I'm all over it. I watch them like a hawk. They seem to change by the minute almost.

I'm doing a bunch of surprises for my mom since she is joining us too. Can't wait!

They do change fast.
I think Delta had just added the one I booked...........and about 10 others.
They weren't there 1/2 hour earlier.
I said once it went below $400, I would do it since we were looking at close to $500 a few weeks ago.
So, there was one at $380, I almost booked. Checked back and the new ones were up over $100 cheaper!!

We only get one ADR for March 1st. DD isn't too interested in TS.
But we go back to WDW for a few days after the cruise too. I will do a few more for that when the 180 comes around for that part of it.

Just checking in with everyone! It's been pretty quiet here on the Disboards but I still make sure to check in. How's everyone doing? Have the majority of you already booked your flights? I can't believe that we're less than 6 months out before we cruise. :cool1:

Hello everyone! So I've done the preliminary split of the FE list. On one list, there are 16 staterooms and on the second list there are 15 staterooms. If you would like for me to send you the list you're on (and you do have the option of being on both) just PM me your email address and I'll forward it along :-)

Princess, Carnival and NCL we have cruised Alaska (twice), Mexico and Eastern Caribbean (twice). We live in Tacoma Wa. so Alaska was super easy but the Caribbean sun and sand can't be beat.
