Yes there are zebra's at AKL

Dustin told Kevin on the podcast this week that they don't have zebra's on the Savannah's at AKL. Kevin was correct as a matter of fact they have two kinds of zebra's at AKL. They also were out with the other animals.

lol, but they dont like some other animals. My wife and I watched one chase a rabbit across the main viewing area. We were amazed at how much that zebra hated that bunny.

Zebras were recently added. I was there this summer when they were expanding the savannah for them. They should be there now.

Kathy - great photos! I am thrilled they have added zebras to the savannah and look forward to our next trip so we can see them. I know zebras can be a little onery, which is why (to my understanding) is why it's taken them so long to add them.

If you haven't done the Wild Africa Trek, you need to, I think you would love it.

There have always been zebras at animal Kingdom.

They might have a new area and there might be more of them....but they have always been there.

The zebras were missing from AK park until now, but have been at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

This zebra was on the Savannah at Animal Kingdom Lodge. They have a much lighter strip around their belly than the other zebra like the ones Kathy took a picture of a AK park. This was on the Sunset tour at Animal Kingdom Lodge 2 years ago. This was a great tour and would like to do it again.

The Zebras were missing during my last visit to the park on 7/3 due to construction in that area ... Glad to see they are back ... A beautiful animal.

Nice photos .... What focal length were you using ... Looks like 300 MM.

Hmm. Strange. I've never seen zebras at AK park and was told by CMs they were building an area in the savannah for them while I was there in July.

They have always been AKL as mentioned above.

I totally missed that it was about AKL! Duh! Yes, we've always enjoyed watching the Zebras when we're at Jambo or Kidani.
