Thank you.
"If" we're not going into the parks, but arriving at the Polynesian on Dec 31 ... will it be hard to get there with all the traffic (about 3:00 PM)? And once there, where would be the best place at the Polynesian to watch New Year's Eve fireworks (or can you even see them from the Polynesian)?
Then would this be a better location than in Magic Kingdom? Will the beach be so crowded we won't be able to see? If we pay for a theme park view, are there balconies? Thoughts?
We've seen Wishes a bunch of times ... just trying to pick out the best place to see fireworks for New Year's Eve with the "least" crowds ... distance is not an issue.

you can get a nice view from California Grill at CR - if you want to do a meal instead of a hotel room - that deck will be very crowded too.

The Concierge Itinerary Planning Office at the Beach Club recommended this to me as a romantic way for my wife and I to watch the fireworks without theme park admission. I'll let you know how it works out as I'll be there in a mere 11 days.

PS - The best place to watch Disneyland's fireworks is the top of the Mickey & Friends parking structure. I wish Disney would pipe the soundtrack in over there!
ON NYE the California Grill hosts a very pricy party for dinner and the view. The view from there is skewed a bit as the Castle is not straight on...still nice but different.

If we booked a woods view room, but didn't think we could see fireworks from our room, then how easy would it be to get over to the Polynesian to see the NYE fireworks ...(preferably boat to monorail) and back. Thoughts?
