Shutter Question

Question for fellow cruisers, some of our pics were missing from our Shutters folder, ones we were certain we would want to purchase (Magical Experience) we were asked to check back on Friday, with all that was happening (eh hem...Hurricane Sandy) we weren't able to make it there. Any chance we will still be able to purchase pictures from Shutters? This would certainly be the icing on the cake if our pictures were no longer available :( Please send me some good vibes :)
 
We had pictures missing from a previous cruise - we had bought the CD and couldn't view it till we got home. I googled shutters DCL and found their contact details and e-mailed them. Following the instructions about providing a reference picture and the relevant details we got the missing pictures sent to us. It took about 2 weeks as they had to contact the ship for the pictures.

Hope you manage to get them after what you went through!
 
Thanks for the info, sadly we weren't able to even purchase the CD because the missing pictures weren't there due to a "glitch" so purchases didn't go thru either. I'm just hoping I can purchase everything after the fact...
 
I think you can, provided the pictures do exist and the glitch didn't mean that for some reason they never got processed. We did have some pictures that were missing from the print outs while we were on the ship too. We told the Shutters staff and they followed it up - turned out a photographer had forgotten to turn in a memory card for processing. They were printed by the next morning.

They do only keep the photos for a set period of time, so I would get on to it as soon as you can.
 


Any pic that is taken on board is held for about 6 weeks on a shoreside server. All you have to do is call image photo which shutters parent comp 800 number and they can help you.
 
Would you by chance have the number to the parent company phone number. I forgot to get my pictures from our Cruise and would like if possible to purchase the CD with all our images.

Try 1800 772 3470, found this on the Shutters company website, The Image Group. Can also submit an online ticket to them with your request on same website.
