We are due to arrive November 1! We are staying in a cars suite. Can anyone recommend a building or room? I would like it to be on the quieter side and not too far from the buses?
I read about 20 pages so far and haven't found much on cars mostly LM or LK.

Thanks!

We stayed in building 1 (CMs referred to it as the Tow Mater building) on the parking lot side. It was fairly quiet and we used the side door which was pretty close to the main building and buses. You should also request the top floor so you don't hear people walking above you.

I was wondering about Cars. By looking at the map I was afraid it was too far from the buses. Hubby wants to stay in Cars. I figured that if you get the building closest to the Animation Hall, that it wouldn't be that bad.

I'm booking today and will try to request building 1. :)

Truthfully, all the suites are pretty close to the bus stops and Animation Hall...def not more than 5 minutes!

I'm trying to finalize my garden grocer order for our upcoming trip and was wondering if someone could tell me what size milk jug will fit in the fridge in the LM section?
Thanks!

We were able to fit two 1-gallon size milk jugs in the fridge. The shelves are adjustable. We had the two milk gallons on the bottom and then bottled water on the top which still fit about 10 bottles lying down. Then there was also room in the door for snacks, yogurt, etc.

I called today and requested a room in building 3 with a lake view. I am sure we will be satisfied with whereever we are placed. A top floor room does sound nice though. We are early to rise early to bed type of people. This time next week we will be in Epcot trying to stay awake.

I requested building 3 and was given building 1. It worked out fine. Even though we had a view of the parking lot instead of the lake, I was happy to not be facing the pool. Although to be honest, the pool area in the Cars section didn't seem very loud. Most of the crowd is at the Nemo pool.

I have some cars pic's in the link below. We are a famiy of 4 so stayed in LM but dd6 would have loved cars, her favorite is mater. We went to the pool there and it is very nice! Excellent theming, not to be missed if you are not staying there, No Mater (lol) where u stay, u will love it and it is a bit more quiet than Nemo (main resort with largest pool, splash are and playground)
Enjoy! pixiedust::goodvibes

The day we went swimming over in Cars (we stayed in LM), it was not loud at all. LM was a bit louder but still not what I would consider loud. The Big Blue Pool was bigger, so noisier, plus there were so many activities going on making it louder.

For the one's that want a quite room...Alway request facing the lake or parking lot....You have to call disney and put in your room request you can't do it online.

Stayed at Art of Animation opening weekend. I loved it! Was amazed by all the *little* touches...the audio under water in the pool was incredible. Has anyone else seen this at any other resort?

Yes, the Poly & HRH at Universal Studios play music underwater in their pools.

4 weeks from today we will start our drive to WDW!! I can't wait to see the LM rooms in person. I have looked at all the pictures and videos, but I can't wait to see it in person.

This week we got our t-shirts from DisneyStore.com and the Cinderella Carriage necklaces I ordered for my DSD6 and I to use for Pick the Pearl. :)

Now if my MM would just arrive I would be all set! :cheer2:

Are there outdoor movies everynight at LK? We booked LK because we thought it might be quieter. Now, I think maybe not.

Yes, there are--- but its kind of hidden near the LK section, and there are hardly any seats--- I definitely would not worry about the noise-

You can actually watch both sides of the screen. Its in the savanna right next to Mufasa on Pride Rock. :) its not noisy at all, we stayed in the 2nd floor right next to where it was playing & didn't hear any noise from it.
