Ok I am getting excited. My friend Sandy, DH and her family are joining us. She has DD(13), DD(10) and DS(7). I am not sure if they are doing the FE. I will let you know once they decide. We are gonna tell the kids Dec 22nd. Gonna make them a scavenger hunt to clue of t-shirts that say "All I want for Christmas is"(on the front) and a picture of the MAgic and under it says" a Disney Cruise"(on the back) they will flip out.

Minnie-- can you add a not above our FE list in larger print that says" Cut off date to join is Dec 25th"?? Is that ok.

Ok awesome I could see it - just the stuff for our FE group. That is so awesome! I will add info on there in a little while. I have to do it at my computer - right now I am on my iPad. I will also add the cut off date.

I am trying to get some friends to join us on the cruise - I keep telling them all - how can you pass it up your kids are free! I have one that is supposed to go to WDW and she is now thinking about changing to the cruise!

If you want , you can just use the questionaire I made since you now have access to it. You can put the link for the questions in your first post or signature or both so people can find it. If they use that it will make it easier for you to keep it all together. Can't believe we haven't had more join. Maybe more will by Xmas! Although I feel I can make more creative things if their are only a few staterooms!!!

I am so hoping to upgrade at the port. We did this on the MR cruise in JAn....only cost us $200 to go from caty I forget but inside to an oceanview. I would go maybe $500 but that's all. keeping my fingers crossed!!!

I'm praying for an upgrade as well. I'm will to go to the $600 mark but not over. REALLY wanting a verandah, even if it's just the navigator's verandah. We're in 11B and the inlaws are in 7A.

No Way - I am not that organized of a person anymore so any advice is great! And plus I would not have known the first thing about organizing this!!

We are not looking to upgrade at the port - really the only thing we could go up to would be the Family room with the verandah or to concierge and I am not sure any of us are interested in that.

I am hoping that I would rather spend that money booking another cruise while I was on board!! We have been planning this for so long and are all so excited - I hope we have a really good time.

Good Morning Mardi Gras Mickey's!!! How are you all!? Went out with my friend yesterday shopping... We found some great deals. Got a cute pool dress for $1.99 at Sears...Seriously!!!! Normally I don't shop there but this dress was cute for by the pool. Also I needed another piece of luggage for the airlines to ruin so I made sure I got a nice piece that was on sale. Instead of $100 it was $30...yep that is my kinda deal!!

We are getting so excited over here. I asked if we could just tell the kids now. My friend said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! LOL I am just busting. I am good at keeping it a secret but I know they are gonna be soo excited to be going together!!

So Black friday is closing in. What is everyones kids asking for that you will be waiting in line for??? I think I am safe this year again. I will just being going out for the fun!! DD(9) is asking for ANOTHER(this makes 9 in our house) American Girl. They ask at every other bday and Christmas so that is how we have acquired so many. And DD(12) wants paint that makes your wall a dry erase board. Easy enough. I have already gotten them Abercrombie & Hollister clothes and some odds and ends. Plus they are getting a cruise for goodness sake...

Well off to get DD(9) out of bed....she's a sleeper!!

We are going shopping next week. I too have to buy a new piece of luggage. DH and I had an entire set given to us as a wedding present and each piece has slowly succumbed to the airline baggage destroyer. Our largest suitcase didn't make it back from Florida intact last year. :/

As for Christmas, I'd rather have a root canal than go shopping on Black Friday. Most of my family lives for it, but I can't stand pushing and shoving types of crowds, so I'm staying far far far away from it this year. My DD also wants a new American girl. She really wants one of the bitty babies and the triple bunk beds. Are you allowing your DDs to bring them on the cruise? Allie wants to bring her Emily and I thought it might be cute to make her a matching pillowcase dress, but I'm terrified she'll get lost. DD would be devastated if that happened.

They have brought them before but they have to stay in the room or only venture out for a Mickey picture but mostly stay on the stateroom and the host/hostess always posed them on the bunk latter or something. Nelia has Chrissa and Nellie and is asking for Makenna....Sydney has Emily and Kit. and we have 3 bitty's and a twin. I am sure one of them will come too!!

I love Black Friday, my SIL and my cousin and I just laugh at people, have coffee and watch cars cut through parking lots on the chase and run into light posts...that one was a funny site..after of course we knew no-one got hurt.

I think Mardi Gras Mickey's is good, so anyone personalizing things can use that!!

Like last year they got iPads so there was no monotary deal on those, but I did buy them on black Friday but because SAMs had a good financing deal on black Friday. Neither has asked for anything really - my daughter wants a trampoline, but she is not getting it. She already had one and it lasted about two years, but I know she won't play on it. Son doesn't ask for anything anymore - well except an iPhone, but he has to earn that with grades, can't just have it. So I am getting them luggage and some cruise related things. Other than that I have no ideas.

We are not straight A students - but they do try (usually); he was given an offer for his grades in the first 9 weeks of school and if he had gotten it he would already have the iphone - but he didn't make it - maybe he will try harder this 9 weeks and it can be a christmas present! Sometimes I can't blame him - there have been school nights where he hasn't gotten home until 11 after having a football game. Will be so glad when football season is over!! And of course right now his school is undefeated in their district - so playoffs are in our future - no end to football anytime soon!
I agree - my mom and I just like to go see what everyone is buying - we always find something to buy even if it is just for us. Last year DS ended up with a new 32 inch TV just because they had one left and it was a good deal!
We always upset the Target employees. Because we are not going for anything in particular we always just stand to the side and wait for the line to pass then we just walk in - they always tell us not to try and cut the line - we must look like line breakers!!
I do have some friends going to Houston in a few weeks - some wholesale shopping thing - they are supposed to get me some peace symbol luggage that I have had my eye on in the mall. In the mall the two pieces I want are about $100 - but they tell me I can get the two pieces in Houston for $35 - so they are going to pick that up for my DD. I figured new luggage for the cruise was a good idea.

I've been posting a countdown every few days on FB. I think everyone's tired of hearing it.

I'm thinking Christmas might get overshadowed this year by the cruise. I'm just so excited. I think I'll incorporate a lot of different cruise things into Allie's presents this year.

A countdown chain sounds fun! Never done one. I noticed when I was looking for FE gifts on Pinterest, I came across some cute chains.
