Just found this thread!! Just booked 2 people for 8:30pm on Thursday 12/13!!

Now a question... when I was reading some other reviews, a lot of people said getting a late ressie like 8:30 meant there would be slim pickings for desserts. Does anyone know if that's true? It seems like a lot of people have 8:30/9 slots in December.

Also I just checked, and the schedule says there are no fireworks on the 13th?! Why did it let me book if there weren't fireworks???

Holiday Wishes is at 9:30......I think it says somewhere if you book a dessert party during MVMCP you must have a ticket to this event.

From what I understand, everyone can come in at the appointed start time - NOT the ressie time.

Just spoke to someone at wdw reservations. Since tomorrowland terrace is being renovated, they are not releasing reservations except on select nights. January is really on hold - rep
Could not say if they will even have the event in January...ugh! My kids love it!

I was just looking at my reservation and I noticed there is also going to be an electrical parade the same night so my question is are you able to see the parade at all. This is our first time doing this so idk exactly where the desert party is located. Thanks in advance.

Won't be able to see the parade in full view from the Tomorrowland Terrace. We will go back another night just to see this up close.

That's right... Just went on Oct 1st. They have name tags on the tables. No rush except for the first pass at the desserts.
They are constantly restocking. It gets a little hectic and crowded. The area the desserts are layed out is new and
Smaller than the location last year on the upper level of the terrace. It was much easier to navigate the desserts last
Year. Still very enjoyable. Have fun!

Oh no. I would seriously hope that they resume having the event once renovations are over - it seems to be super popular and I'm sure they're making a lot of money off of it! We're hoping for April...

Oh no :'( I really, really wanted to do this on our trip in January. Obviously it won't be the end of the world, but it will be our only chance for a good 10 years.

If anyone does hear anything for January, please let me know xx

Well I hope everyone gets their ressies for January. I didn't know they were renovating the Terrace. Hope its completed and open for our visit in Feb. We haven't done the Dessert Party before and will be surprising my Goofyvette Wife.
