I can't remember if DCL offers debarkation tours. I can't find any on the website, and I'm not sure if I should cancel my car company in case of a tour or not. Anyone know?

Hello fellow cruisers!

DH and I just signed on last night for this cruise. So excited!!! Never cruised around Christmas so expecting Disney to make this cruise EXTRA special forthe holidays! My name is Debra and DH is Rick. We are from N.C. We went on the Fantasy this past June and loved it. So looking to cruising with all of you! Have a magical day!!!

WonderlandsMostWanted.....I am also a walker . On the last several cruises, I have gotten to know Deck 4 very well. I got a group of walkers up for the WBTA cruise we took last Sept. I walk fast so only one lady and I wound up going together but everyone had a great time. We would meet by the Mickey statue (on the Magic) by Luminere's each morning at 9:00 am. Definitely need that excercise with all the great food and "drinks of the day"!! lol

I am guessing with all the discounts they keep offering for this cruise, there must still be quite a few rooms left.

I'd say the opposite, with all the discounts, the ship will likely be more full! If they hadn't done the discounts there probably would have been a lot of open space.

It does make sense now that there weren't many problems booking Palo, Remy or excursions. I think there weren't so many people booked on the cruise that would make the popular things sell out quickly.

Nope, I've never seen a tour offered by Disney. I have done my own arrangements for tours on the day we get off the ship. Last time we did an airboat ride on the way back to Orlando. We had horrible weather but on a good day, you'd see alligators and other critters.

Before this cruise we are doing a tour that you could easily do after the cruise, too. We are doing a Segway tour of Cape Canaveral. They have tours of Cocoa Beach, too.

If I'm going to the airport I'll do a tour after the cruise first (like the airboat.) If I'm going back to the parks, we generally go quickly so we are there early on the morning we get off the ship. If you're at the early breakfast you can just about make it for rope drop at a park. On this cruise we'll be heading back to Epcot to spend the day on the 8th.

Thanks for sharing the DVC discount Inkmahm (or whoever did it) - saved us, even considering I had a $350 OBC from the original booking. I need to keep my eye open for those discounts as I did not get an email from DVC. Now, so long as they can read that 20 yar old DVC card that I had to fax them, all will be well but I will followup that it arrived and was acceptable. Odd, one would think they could verify with their sister company as easily as getting a copy of our cards. Must not be as simple as it sounds...

to our newest cruisers. I am looking forward to our trip and Puerto Rico as I have never been there before, nor have I sailed on either of the new ships so this will be an adventure!

I loved participating in the FE in the past, just won't have time before we go on cruise to get FE gifts together. Like getting early Christmas presents each day when come back to your room and see your FE full of wonderful gifts!!!

I've been researching and thinking about FE gifts, and I think I'll be getting started with those today.

We were on the Fantasy in July on the Western Caribbean itinerary, and we loved it! We are really looking forward to returning to our favorite ship.

Just wanted to ask a general question.....for those of you involved in the FE, are you leaning more towards Christmas themed gifts you are going to give since we will be on the cruise at Christmas time? Disney gifts? Still undecided whether to join the FE gifts and not sure time-wise whether I can get it all together for 25 or more cabins. I've been trying to think of Christmas ideas for FE and running into a wall with ideas. Thanks for any advice you can give!
