Got upgraded to concierge room so for we get all the concierge extras? Also there are 5 of us so will we all be comfortable we were originally in a ocean view stateroom with verandah

12004 is a V. So it is approx the same size as the category 4's on the ship. The decor will be slightly different and the finishes will be nicer. We have travelled in a V with our 2 year old and it was fine. However with 5 people I think it would depend on how old your kids are. There will be enough room for people to sleep but you won't have easy access to your verandah with all the beds down and out. Luckily the stateroom host will do a turn down service for you in the evening and then in the morning they will put all the beds and pull downs up so that you can have more space in the room for most of the day. Plus you can go to the concierge lounge during the day and spend time on the private sun deck. This makes the V seem a lot nicer than the cat 4 since you have these separate spaces where you can spend time. Enjoy your trip.

It was complimentary. I thought the room was bigger and is one of the 1 bedroom rooms. Am I wrong about that?

Wow..lucky you! Enjoy!!! This is our 5th cruise. No pixie dust for us yet...

We are sailing on 10/21 Dream with you!!! This will be our 3rd time on The Dream. You will love it. The whole Disney cruise experiance is wonderful!!! Soak up those complimentary perks!!!

Thanks it's our 1st. Just hoping this room is the same as what we had or little better. Does anyone know if Internet is free in our room with concierge?

You get 100 free minutes of internet time in concierge. Unless you are in the Royal Suites.

Congrats! We too were magically upgraded from a 4C to Concierge V back in August. You will need to purchase the 100 minute internet package for $40 and then the Cruise will refund it before you leave the ship.

Here are some of the other concierge perks we experienced on the Dream:

o has their own check in line and waiting area at Port Canaveral
o Ability to be the first group to board the ship
o rooms ready earlier. Ours was ready at 12:45
o luggage in room earlier. Ours was in the room around 1:15.
o Bathrobes and slippers for the adults
o Arcade Cards for the kids
o Bowl of fruit in our room on first day
o Refrigerator filled with H2O, coke, diet coke and sprite. We could get more up in the Lounge.
o Happy hour before each dinner seating.
o snacks throughout the day
o access to a concierge lounge on deck 12
o access to a private concierge deck on deck 13
o 16x20 lithograph.
o Private meet and greet with a Disney character on the "At Sea" day. This takes place on the concierge deck. The hosts don't know who it will be until the character shows up. Ours was Goofy.
o They have breakfast up in the lounge on disembarkation day till 8:45. We did this instead of showing up at Animator's Palette at 6:45am which was our assigned time.
o once you board you are taken up to the concierge lounge. The hosts present you with your itinerary, review it and are able to help book/change shore excursions. Reps for Palo/Remy, kids club and the Spa are there to assist you with new reservations/changes. This is better than having to go to 3 different areas of the ships.
o access to the cabanas. Even though on-line showed the cabanas were sold out, we were offered a Cabana for both days at Castaway Cay.
o Free 100 minutes of wi-fi (you need to purchase the $40 package and it will be refunded)
o Complimentary iPad rentals

How did you know you got upgraded? Does that sometimes happen before the cruise or does it happen only when you board? What a great surprise!

We were just on the Sept 30 sailing on the Dream and we were also lucky enough to get a comp upgrade to concierge. We had room 12528. The extra perks were wonderful!! We only found out when we arrived at the port. We were shocked! It was so nice to have the special concierge check-in and by-pass everyone waiting to board! We then had a personal escort waiting to take us directly to the concierge lounge where we were welcomed with an open bar and explained all the perks. Keep in mind though you will need to tip at least 1 extra person that you may not have counted on if you pre-paid gratuity. We needed to pay our concierge lady plus the bartender in the lounge. (If you use her service.) Only 1 extra envelope was provided tho, for concierge, not 1 for the bartender. She most certainly should be tipped tho. (Or "he", as the case may be.) Another thing to keep in mind, if you are signed up for the FE exchange, you will be behind a locked gate. So people will have to take your goodies to either guest svc or the concierge. We had to alert all our participating rooms upon arrival as it was a surprise for us and they already had our other room number ready to deliver to. It was so nice to have had this opportunity! we enjoyed it so much we will look into upgrading at the port next time.

This is the first post I've seen mentioning a lithograph. Do all concierge rooms receive one?Is it of the ship or characters?

Thank everyone we are very excited to board the ship in the AM. Not sure how we got the upgrade we were called on Friday and were told this! I can't wait to board on the AM.

It varies. Last year we had one cruise in the beginning of the month and one at the end of the same month and the picture was different.

I did see a post (maybe here?) or blog somewhere where a gentleman posted pics of the lithographs he received. Let me see if I can find it.

Wondering the same thing... We are leaving in less than two weeks and are in a 4D... when i looked a couple days ago, half of the next level up ( concierge) are still open. :scratchin
