Castaway Cay Questions. RE: Parasailing

Hi--on our cruise Scuttles Cove kids club on CC opened at 9 a.m. Cookies and Cookies Too were open from 11:30-2:00. However, I think they opened a little earlier because both days we got there right at 11:30 and people were already eating.

Thanks for the info. :)

As above, Scuttle's Cove opens at 9. Cookies lists hours of 11:30 - 2, but sometimes starts serving early. For the first 30 minutes, one line is reserved for kids in the programming.

Hammocks are scattered all along the beaches (adult and family). Seriously, they are all over.

I want to book an early time to go parasailing with DH and have lunch with kids at Cookie's afterwards.
Does anyone know what time does the kid's club open and when is the lunch time at Cookie's?
And where are the hammocks located?
TIA :)

don't know if this helps but we did a 12:30 parasailing in August and had plenty of time for that delicious lunch on Castaway Cay...hammocks are towards the tube rentals...

Thanks, everyone. :grouphug:
We'd really love to spend a few minutes and snap few pics on the hammock.
Just to be sure, so I should get out of pelican point tram stop and walk towards to the flippers and floats, right?

thats where many of the hammocks i know of are...its really not that tough to get a hammock...they are usually available (or at least they were on our August trip)...

 First time cruiser. Read some posts about people leaving their stuff on the hammock and disappear all day...guess i worried too much.

People do still leave stuff on the hammock. a shame... there are only so many hours to enjoy the beach, let someone enjoy it!

agree 1000%...that's really rude....if thats the case scope out the hammock for 10 minutes then politely move the stuff off the hammock...if someone comes back plead ignorance...

Agree!

Definitely book parasailing earlier in day. We booked at 10 am, which worked well in case it got cxld in am due to conditions and they could possibly take us in the pm and also allows us time to get our daughter to kids club. This happened on one of our cruises and they never charged us.

These are the same people who put their stuff on the pool deck chairs and disappear, but on the beach it is not against any rule printed by DCL.

We've not had a problem getting a hammock when we wanted one. People tend to grab the first one they come to--walk a little farther down the beach and you'll find more.

Will do. Thanks, kcashner. :beach:
