HI EVERYONE!!!! I'm leaving for Disney first thing tomorrow morning (before the sun even comes up...eeee!!) and I ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT BELIEVE IT. I am losing it, totally freaking out, I don't even know what to say or how to describe how I feel! I'm sure you all recognize the feeling! Yeah so I fell way behind. Fail. I'm like "oh hey, I'm following everyone on Twitter now, let's just forget about the Dis." (I'm also re-reading Harry Potter so that also has something to do with it.)

ANYWHO.

Zebra domes are heavenly. I still long for them. I always stumble across the recipe and I'm like "WOO! ZEBRA DOMES IN COLORADO!" and then I read it and it always seems so intimidating, so I continue pining for Disney World where I can eat instead of dream of such deliciousness.

Also: cheap, random African wine? I would LOVE some. That sounds quite amazing indeed. Add that to the list of the 7409878790 things I'm going to do on my next trip. I personally think you should've done it. (It should be noted that whenever wine is involved, I'll probably be the one urging that bottle to be opened.) For some reason, the thought of drinking in random places amuses me. Do you have a Chipotle in your area? It's a cheap, burrito place that is divine. It's really basically fast food, but GOOD fast food. Anywho, they sell margaritas. (And beer.) I've never seen anyone drink there. BUT I've always wanted to just grab some of my friends and have a couple rounds of margaritas there and basically be the funnest table in Chipotle.

You notice so much great stuff. Like the HM in the Muppet fountain. And the monkey on the rocket outside of TSM! I LOVE DISNEY AND HOW YOU CAN ALWAYS NOTICE NEW THINGS!!

You are too funny that you felt awkward about going up to your new French beau. I WISH I HAD THAT "Oh, yeah let's NOT do this because it'll probably be awkward" gene. I don't. I'm always like "Eh? What the heck? The more awkward, the better the story!" And then I would go and shamelessly flirt with the French boy and make a complete **** out of myself. So I applaud you for having some self-restraint.

And then you went and found a Moroccan boy! You are my hero. That is so perfect. I love how boys just give you stuff in WS. OMG. Seriously. That is incredible. I'm in awe of you.

Honestly, unless wine is REALLY REALLY cheap and bad, like bottom of the barrel crap, I usually like less expensive kinds just as much as the top of the line wines... new wines just as much as aged ones... so I'm not much of a connoisseur is what I'm saying. Wine is just a good thing in general is my point.

This is like my entire life philosophy. Wine IS a good thing. We would get along just swimmingly.

I'm SO GLAD you put in your disclaimer about people NOT going and just ASKING or even expecting free food. That is truly why I have not written a post about my love affair with ToT. I'm scared that people will try to exploit my love and take advantage and beg and ask and just be mean to THE GREATEST RIDE EVER! And I would not be okay with that. But maybe a disclaimer will ease my heart.

I love the Disney iPhone cases. THEY ARE PERFECT. Like Joni's Princess Jasmine one. I seriously look at the Disney Store website and drool over them all the time. The only reason I haven't dropped $40-ish on one is because I can't decide! I'm like "Oh, Rapunzel! Oh, Mike & Sulley! Oh, Boo! Oh, Russell and Dug and Carl! Oh, the Up! house! Oh, The Toy Story gang! OH, WRECK IT RALPH!" And I just want them all. HARDEST DECISION IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.

OMG your MK after dark pics! WAS THERE EVEN ANYONE THERE? I'm DYING. Booking trip for that time frame RIGHT NOW. (HA! I wish. Soon, soon, soon!)

THIS IS THE TRIP THAT NEVER ENDS,
YES IT GOES ON AND ON MY FRIENDS!!!!!


WHEW. Wow. Whoa. What a whirlwind. Yeah, what has happened requires epic alliteration because I WAS STUCK IN DISNEY! And I am still (kind of) stuck in Florida.

Here's the story toned WAY down and made short:

-I was supposed to leave Disney on October 28th
-Due to the hurricane my flight was canceled. So I booked another night in Disney.
-Expedia offered me a flight on the 29th, but my family back home told me that was crazy since that was when the storm was supposed to be at its worst (and they were right.)
-My parents and I decided that it would be best for me to just wait out the storm in Disney (BEST PLACE TO BE STUCK EVER!). So eventually one night turned into 3 more nights. So I was due to check out on the 31st.
-The flights on the 31st were INSANE prices, same with Nov 1. Expedia was telling me it would be $500 and they hadn't even refunded my money yet! They STILL haven't. They say the refund was processed on the 28th and because they have to go through the airline, it is going to take 1 OR 2 WEEKS to show up in my account. They originally told me it would take a few business days (which is normal), but it's still not in my account.
-I booked a new, reasonably priced flight through Southwest that was supposed to fly today. However, the airport is on an extremely limited schedule and the other 2 nearby airports are flooded. My mom also told me that we have no power at my house and they said we won't have it for a week, so I really was not thrilled about going home to that. Luckily, the only damage to our home was that our mailbox blew off. We have family that have homes that are completely destroyed/underwater. Thankfully, no one was hurt though, and that's all that matters.
-My friend Gina, who lives 2.5 hours from Disney, offered to come get me and said I could stay at her house for a few days, since Disney was getting quite expensive (well, LBR, it's expensive ANYWAY... but all these extra days onto a trip was really adding up! Thankfully, Disney offered me a "hurricane rate" which saved me a bunch of money.)
-I am now at Gina's house, and will be here until Monday. Right now she is playing Kingdom Hearts while I update this (YAY DISNEY VIDEO GAMES!) and we are going to have an epic Disney movie marathon and go see Wreck it Ralph tomorrow. SO while I am very upset that I had to leave my happy place, getting to visit with Gina is definitely softening the "leaving Disney" blow. We were actually talking about how we should just do this every time I go to Disney. So, I'm sad but I'm happy too.

So, how was the trip?

Oh. My. God. First of all, I ended up being in Disney for 11 full days, and today was day 12. That is the longest I have ever been there and now I don't know how I can ever do a shorter trip.

It was one of the best trips EVER.

I honestly don't even know how to describe it. I feel totally different than I did before I left. I'm just so happy and feel so lucky that I got this MUCH NEEDED extended break from reality. I've really been having a hard time of it in life recently, just being really unhappy 90% of the time... and I just feel so revitalized. Usually when I'm in Disney it goes by in the blink of an eye, but I honestly feel like it slowed time down a bit this time. I feel like I was there for a month or something. The last trip didn't feel like as much of a true BREAK from everything as this one did. I feel so lucky that I happened to pick this week that caused me to have to be "Stuck in Disney" (I smell a TR title).

I did SO MUCH on this trip... but I also slowed down a bit and RELAXED!!! On the 2nd half of the trip, most days I didn't get up early to go to the parks and it was absolutely lovely to have that extra time where you don't feel like you have to crush everything in.

I was in NEW FANTASYLAND four times (YOU ARE ALL GOING TO COMPLETELY FALL OVER AND DIE WHEN YOU SEE IT. IT IS BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAMS.), I went to MNSSHP 3 times (I'm ADDICTED to MNSSHP. Best parade ever.), ate countless dishes at the Food & Wine Festival, met every Princess and several other characters including EUGENE FITZHERBERT!!!!!!!!! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!, experienced resorts, restaurants, and attractions I never have before... and most interestingly, I was often regarded as a Cast Member, by not just guests, but CMs themselves. So many people asked if I was one or simply talked to me as if I was one. A few CMs told me I should be a CM. And it just really got me thinking that even though my dreams lie in film, TV, and broadway (which I need to be in NY or LA for), I might regret it if I don't spend some time working in Disney World. Even if it's only for a few months. Plus, many of the people who work in entertainment for Disney move on to broadway and other great things. Also, oddly, I met a guy not too long ago who is playing Aladdin on the Wonder right now and he's having the time of his life, so I've also thought about auditioning for the Cruise Line. I've been wanting to move to LA for a really long time (and possibly work in Disneyland), but I'm pretty scared to do this, and I think doing Orlando first might be a good stepping stone to that. I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but I've definitely been thinking about it. I have basically no credit, so I have absolutely NO idea how on earth I would get an apartment... I also have no car. So it's not like I can just move next month or something (like I want to. Ideally, I'd want to be there during the winter and spring and the move back during the summer). GAH I wish things could just be easy. I'm telling you, if I had more money and a car, I would move this month. It just feels right. Maybe I'm just high off the Disney Magic right now and this feeling will go away, but how everything went this trip... it just seems like the universe is trying to tell me something.

Or maybe it isn't. Maybe that doesn't happen and I just got stuck due to a hurricane and none of this means anything. I HAVE NO IDEA. I do know that I am not happier in any other place than Disney, and I haven't been happy where I am in life. SO Hmm. I don't know.

OH WELL, no need to make epic life decisions right now. I HAVE A MAJORLY LONG AND AMAZING TR TO WRITE! And I must finish this one as well, of course! Expect a new TR and updates for this one next week. If I actually make it home on Monday. FINALLY. Sheesh. Fingers crossed.

I absolutely can not wait to share all of my adventures with you all. This was an unbelievably, insanely, ridiculously, magically fantastically WHAM trip and it is going to be one mother of a TR. Seriously, I brought Livin' It Up to a whole new level. Just WAIT.​

I am glad that you have someone to stay with in FL, as I can imagine the expenses were adding up. And even if you don't move to Orlando, staying with your friend on part of your future trips sounds like a great idea!

I mean, I talked to you quite a bit while you were there so you know my thoughts But I am SO HAPPY that this trip was revitalizing for you. Mine was when I went too! (Even though it wasn't nearly as long) Maybe it's this time of year or something.

But ANYWHO the only other thing I have to say is.... Everything happens for a reason. Don't second guess it.
