Hi :)

Planning my first trip to Orlando! :cool1: Just about to book Discovery Cove really soon... I've heard about the discounts when you have an AP for Sea World. Could you please help me and see if I understand it correct?

Without discount:
3 x dolphin swim package - $777
1 x day resort package - $169
tax - $61.51
Total - $1,007.51
(Admission to SW and DC)

With SW AP discount:
1 x 1 year passport (senior) - $111.99
3 x dolphin swim package - $507
1 x day resort package - $69
tax - $44.74
3 x adult SW 1 day admission - $239,61
Total - $972.34
(Admission to SW, DC, free parking at SW, 10% off many food and merchandise stores, 10% off DC merchandise + the photo CD)

First of all - Can I even get a annual pass for SW when I'm not living in the US? :confused3
Am I calucuating correct? Do you know how much the single tickets are, when you're a SW pass member?

Thanks in advance! The DIS'ers is always the best!!! :thumbsup2

Yes you have the calculations right, what time of year are you coming though? The discounts for DC in 2013 haven't been released yet, so you may have to wait to book, and of course hope they are the same prices as 2012. The unfortunate part was when SW used to do the buy one ticket get the 2nd free is no longer available, which was nice whan buying it this way. I believe the discount on SW tickets in eithier $8 or $10 can't recall.
As far as not living in the US, I live in Canada and have a pass! So you shouldn't have any problem.

Thank you soo much for answering! :thumbsup2 Guess I will buy the pass then, it would be great to save some $$$!
What is the best way to buy the SW tickets? I will buy the AP and DC package toegther. Can I then buy pass-discounted tickets online at seaworld.com?
Yea, I see that the 2nd ticket free would have been a great offer - but as long as I get some dicounts I'm happy.....

We are doing DC 12/24 and Sea World 12/25 or 12/26

You will be able to recognize me easily.....I will be the old lady acting like a big kid in the fake snow and screaming like a baby on the Polar Express :thumbsup2 .

Haha... As you say, you never know :p I'll certainly say hi!!! I'm so exited!!!! :D I'm sure you will spot me and my family very easily too - we're kind of an "odd" family: 81-year old grandma in wheelchair, my mother (59), me (18) and my cousin (11)...

Hope you'll have a great time!!! See you - maybe :)

I'm not sure that your plan to buy the pass and the dc tickets in the same transation is going to work. You need your pass number and I think that is issued when the pass is (like when you actually activiate it) I know some folks have had active passes mailed but you would have to call and see if this is possible.

Good luck to you in getting it done.

We purchased our DC tickets for our August trip with an unactivated Aquatica annual pass (same transaction.....did it by phone). It was our understanding that we needed to activate our Aquatica pass before arriving at DC, so we did an Aquatica day the day prior to our DC visit. That said, no one asked to see our Aquatica pass at DC check in :confused3 . But we had it with us, just in case.

I actually tried earlier, just to see if it worked - and it did! ;)
I don't know how I got the site, but when I tried to price out the annual pass I had the opportunity to add the DC tickets at the discounted price..... BUT I didn't proceed, so I don't know if I have to write the pass number, but it didn't seem like it will be a problem!
I'll write how it goes - when I buy it (hopefully soon!)
