Just felt the need to thank each of you this morning for helping this area of the message board exist. I "lurk" so often and post every once in a while...but we are going thru so much in our life right now that you all will never know how nice it is to bring these threads up and read and be taken into a world of scrapbooking and friendship! Just wanted you guys to know that you brighten days even without realizing it. Hope everyone has a wonderful day today!

I have to say that I was never much of a girlfriend type person when I was a teen, all my friends were boys.
But I'm thrilled to call this group of ladies (and Squid, our one gentleman) my friends. They have seen me through a lot in the past few years.
We have seen each other through a lot. Loss, celebration, pain, joy.

I hope things will ease up soon for your family!

I agree with Reddy. Everyone is so busy, I rarely see my 'live, local' friends. And I wouldn't dream of picking up the phone for fear of 'interrupting' something important on the other end.
