Beer on Fantasy?

Hi all! We are getting ready to take our 2nd Disney cruise (1st time was on the Magic 10 years ago!) aboard the Fantasy on October 27th. My husband is very interested in what types of beer they serve? Anyone know is they serve imports and which ones?

depends on what type of beer he likes....

i thought the beer selections on the other cruises were better- the bartender at the adult pool agreed with me....up by the adult pool they have Heineken on tap.....no place had New Castle or Sam Adams on tap; or better yet no place i could find or be directed too....i found more pale ales then actual beer beers if you will...

Does O'Gill's have a special beer similiar to what the Dream has in 687? I actually liked the 687 brew and I'm not a beer drinker.

We were on the Fantasy two weeks ago. Here is what we found on tap.

Cove Pool Bar - Heineken and Strongbow
Currents - Miller & Bud Light
O'Gills - O'Gill's, Sam Adams, Strongbow, Guinness, and Stella
The Tube - Bud Light (there was another we can't remember)

They do change quite a bit. And we found most places had a number of bottle selections.

Don't get your hopes up. We're huge beer fans, have tons of breweries around us so we're a bit snobbish in regards to our choices. We drank frou-frou drinks and wine the whole cruise because there wasn't any good beer.

We had Longboard on the Magic this past May and enjoyed it very much. Any sign of Longboard on tap?

I was on the Fantasy in May and they had Longboard on tap at the bar above the pools. I really enjoyed that beer.

Full info is available in the FAQ sticky thread. Buy a 22 oz glass beer mug, that you get to keep, purchase refills at a given 16oz price.

yes...i believe its $25...you return the mug after your beer and you get the chip...go back and turn in the chip and get the beer in the big mug...loose the mug and you lose your chip and the $25....

twice after dinner i had to go running back into the dining room to get my mug or i would've lost the money/chip...

at the end of the cruise you can take the mug with you or keep your chip then use it on your next Disney cruise...i chose the later...

correct...the first bill was almost $25 which was beer + mug....
