The ride starts off I 10 at Barbers Hill. They ride 95 miles today to the Moody Gardens Hotel. Then tomorrow from the hotel back to Barbers Hill for 82 miles tomorrow. Most of the ride looks flat but there is a bit of south wind today. I will sit by the pool here at the hotel (martini in hand) and wait for them. Have to run to the port and look at the Magic. Sherry

Thanks for the info. My daughter wants to do that ride next year. Sounds like a fun ride. Two long rides.

I'm finishing up all my FE gifts today. I think I'm going to have to bring a suitcase just for them!!!

Hello Batesfam. This is our first Disney cruise and we are so excited. This board has been great for answering questions. I am sure we will all learn a lot on our first cruise. Are you signed for early or late dining? And don't forget to meet us at 3pm on Deck 3. Promenade Lounge on our sail away day. I think I might stick a name tag in my lanyard for that meet and greet. Hiya Sherry, We are signed up for the early dining. We will be on deck 3 Promenade lounge for the meet and greet at 3:00. We have been keeping this a secret from our daughter since it is for her birthday and today Mickey called our daughter and she knows we are going on the cruise!! She was so excited and we've been itching to tell her, so now we can finally spill all the glory and details.

You still can send one! I sent one to my stepson today who is going on his first cruise with us. You can sign up to send it the same day
If you go into my reservations you click on character calls. We could have up to I think two per stateroom.

There was another post I was checking out. It dealt with advertising on FE gifts. I have one that has a company logo on it from which my mom works for. We are not including any business card or flyer to buy from her company, we just thought they were cool for the kids. Please let me know if any of you would be offended.

I would NOT be offended at all. It's a gift, you are allowed to give whatever you would like.

For those of you who have cruised Disney before- do the staterooms have shampoo , conditioner, etc. my suitcase is getting very full. I may be sneaking some of my items in my husbands suitcases.
I am also packing a few extra Fe gifts. My Fe that I ordered off etsy finally came today. I thought it would be larger but I am very happy with it. Sherry

I was just reading another board on this forum and one of the moms packs waffle cones for her kids ice cream. She does not have to fly to her port and always packs waffle cones and shell toppings for her kids to have ice cream by the pool. Thought I would pass that along for those of you who are driving and still have room in your suitcases. Sherry

They have shampoo and conditioner and I believe soap. The shampoo and conditioner are awesome! If you get sunburned like I did on the last cruise make sure to talk to your stateroom host as they have fabulous aloe and lotion for after sun!! Last year when we didn't have our luggage they even supplied motion sick pills at customer service desk. We had a great time on the last disney cruise. I will be happy to answer what I can

Has anyone done any scuba adventures at any of our three stops on this cruise? My husband has been looking at doing just one this trip and is having a hard time choosing which one looks best. Thanks Sherry

We are 12 to 1230.

As for scuba Cayman is he best of the places we are going. Wall dive would be a great dive to make here if experienced enough.

Hello All We just ran across this thread and thought it was awesome as we have never done this before and think it will be very interesting. This is going to be our first cruise and we are all so excited! It will be my daughters (Christina) birthday on the 26th as she will be turning 11 while on the cruise. The tips have been great and look for more to come and hope we can help as well. We are looking so forward to this trip and have been doing so much research, I can't believe we just now ran across this thread thingy. Thanks so much!!!

Silly question... How do we check that time? I tried to find it the other day but couldn't find it?

Should be on the boarding pass you printed. Laying down with iPad so don't have boarding pass to give more specific directions though. My dd I suspect is upset she is not going but she wanted to be in class all week when we asked if she wanted to go with us.

Oh Yes - We wouldn't miss the meet and greet. There will be three of us looking confused and lost we should be easy to spot. LOL Yippee!!! Just a couple more days left. Christina is our daughters name.
