Disney also has a "construction" team. Don't think the spouse's resume hasn't been sent. Recently. LOL I keep telling him any job within easy driving distance of Anaheim is pre-approved by me. LOL

LOL Micah keeps telling me that when the girls are out of the house we can move to Anaheim.

Melody have fun!!!! I'm about to PM you with my sweatshirt info. :) So excited to get a sweatshirt with a cool logo on it!!! :) It will be warm and snuggly this winter.

I'm so glad it's Friday. We are going to Reno this weekend, staying at the Peppermill, no plans other than relaxing and recharging. Micah wants to gamble so I set aside some $$$ for him, not a lot but some. And we get some free play money with this deal. :) I'm excited! We are going "with" the BFF and her DBF, we are all staying at the same hotel but they will get there a lot later then we will so we may not see them tonight at all. We will probably get there around 11 tonight ourselves so we may just go right to bed..... ;)
Weather is changing, hope it's nice in Reno! :)

Quick hello from me! Been in the kitchen most of the day making items for tomorrow.

Oh, and since I was double dog dared, I think I will have to post that pic now! Well, once I figure out how to scan it into the computer. :bitelip:

And a 50 year old Human Resources Manager :thumbsup2

You know, we seem to have quite the able and willing middle aged team. Surely Disney will just create positions for us. Lisa can tell the boys in hard hats what to do. I can make sure the Main Street horses and drug sniffing dogs are well taken care of, and you can make everything go smoothly, no OSHA or Labor Board violations and the like.

It could happen.

Have fun. I have never been to Reno.

I totally knew that you would cave. Safe for me to exert the whole peer pressure thing since I am not in the photo.

I have photoshop and am not afraid to use it.

Okay, well, technically I don't know how to use it, but still.... :scratchin

Oh, no. The hubby is the construction manager. I maxxed out my working title as office manager and managed to score a gig as a "domestic engineer, no children". It's a hard position to get. LOL Hubby directs the hard hats and I keep hubby clean and fed. LOL

Oh, my bad. I keep my DH clean and ironed. Not a fan of the feeding part.

Well, of course, I knew you did not know Photoshop. Otherwise, you too could have been posting photos of the "Monkey Bride".

We know from the pictures posted who is skilled with PhotoShop.:lmao:

Most of you probably saw this already on Facebook, but just had to share here because I am so excited about it! I've been paying for this little guy for 6 months, and I am excited to have finally brought him home! :hyper:

Corn Bread is one of my favorite foods. Especially warm. Yummo!
Why is it not Friday yet?

I agree, we must fit EOS in there somewhere. I hope there will be ample seating for our large group. Since they haven't opened yet, we don't know. I think are supposed to open by Thanksgiving, is that correct?

mmmm...cornbread is yummo!

I hope that EOS is open soon, or at least by Dec. 18. The boys requested to eat there a few times when I told them there was one opening.

AOS~ Is my cookie dealer, she don't need no stinking pants! However, her face was pretty darn priceless when she realized she left her pants.

Our football chapter submits an article with pics from all of the teams. I am the photographer for our team I am lucky that they liked this one enough for the cover. This was icing on the cake after our 30-20 victory today :cool1:

Thank you for letting be brag a little

That's awesome Wendy! And of course you can brag, he deserves it. :thumbsup2

Andrea, your Stitch is beautiful. I collect Swarovski. It's an expensive habit, isn't it? I love all my pieces. I started about 20 years ago with the train set - one piece at a time. ;)

I bought a Bissell carpet cleaner on sale with a coupon at Costco and did my bedroom carpets today. Hurt my lower back, broke a nail and broke a sweat, but think of all the money I saved.

Happy Sunday, ladies. It's a quiet morning here. Noelle and her friends will probably be sleeping for quite a while. I have no clue what time they went to bed! I know they were still up at 2:30. Ruben had to work today, so it's just me and a house full of sleeping children and teens.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :thumbsup2 Amen!!

Oh, and another amen on the feeding the family part. I never liked cooking. But, now I find I am starting to really despise it. I've made meals for anywhere from 2-6 people just about every day for the last almost 20 years. I think I am nearing retirement.

We are leaving for Anaheim in about an hour!!!
Have fun!!

They do seem to be taking their own sweet time. Hopefully they will open soon!! And then, I wonder how long the lines will be! LOL

Of course, brag away! You should be proud. Great score and awesome photo.

Wanna do mine next? I'm guessing that's a no. Doesn't sound like it was a very fun time. ;) But hey, now you've got nice, clean carpet!

Hey ladies! I'm standing in line to get in to the park. Yesterday i ran into Melody and Carol and scouted out Jessica at MTP. This morning i saw Carol again and ran into Stacie at La Brea. I knew about the CHOC walk this weekend but I didn't know it meant that the park didn't open till 10! We arrived at the parking garage at 7:30 (free parking due to the walk it turns out) and were told by the CM about the delay. Getting into DTD was insane! The walk blocked La Brea so it was a challenge getting in. I wonder why they don't do this much earlier like the half marathon so it doesn't bring on all of the crowd congestion. It's definitely put a wrench in our schedule :( we were planning on leaving at noon- I don't think we will be able to do much today.

My mom was just "complaining" about that when we were up there. She has a "boyfriend" who has been coming over for dinner 6 nights a week for the past several years. They had a little disagreement a month or so ago and while they are "back together", she has cut him off on the daily dinner train. LOL She's got him down to 3 days a week. She said she's been cooking dinner for somebody almost every night for 54 years and she's had enough of it.

I don't mind cooking most of the time. But right now I hate it (to recap, I moved from northern California to Seattle because of dad's heart condition and lack of work opportunities in CA at the beginning of September, staying with my parents in their condo until my apartment is ready on November 10th).

I've been cooking for everyone since I've been here, and it's a nightmare. My mother has never been a great cook, when I was growing up we had fried chicken, spaghetti, pot roast or tacos every night. EVERY NIGHT. Because my father is the pickiest eater on the face of the planet, nothing ever had any spice or flavor, just salt and pepper.

So, now that I'm staying with them I've been cooking and trying to help out, but because of their dietary restrictions and the most boring palates on the planet, I'm restricted to chicken, pork chops, spaghetti and steak, with no seasoning. If I want to make something at all different or exotic I end up making two separate dinners, which is absolutely no fun. And since their kitchen is tiny, it's no fun cooking or cleaning up after either.

27 days! I am so counting down. Okay, venting over. I should go to the gym now.
