Part 1: Epcot!

We had breakfast at the hotel. I didn’t take my camera, or maybe we just ate in our room? You can see here that Blanche had a banana. So that means that we did go get food, I just didn’t take my camera with us. I laugh at this one because she thought she was hiding from the picture! Hee hee hee…. I love wide angle lenses and big zooms so people don’t realize they’re in them!

It was EMH at Epcot, so we waited for an Epcot bus. Not long obviously because in 20 minutes or so we were already at Epcot.

We did actually ride Mission Space, once on the Green side and once Orange. I definitely like Orange better. I love feeling like I’m actually heading to space.

Part 2: Mission Space and a superb snack!

I really didn’t like this thing. I thought it was creepy! More like a horror movie creature than something that I would want to see at WDW!

It’s not my favorite ride, but I like it. It’s great when you’re getting near your fastpass time for Soarin’ and you need to pass some time! Hahaha.

By then it wasn’t quite 9:30 and we decided we wanted a snack. So off to Sunshine Seasons where we found this:

A most delicious strawberry shortcake. We split it and used one snack credit, getting ice waters to drink. This water was fine to drink, no taste whatsoever. I’ve come to the conclusion that some places use tap water to fill the ice water requests, and some use the water from the soda machines or something else, because sometimes it was good, sometimes it wasn’t.

The strawberry shortcake, on the other hand, was so light and delicious, we said we should have gotten two. This is how much we loved it:

Blanche is extremely nervous of heights. So afraid, that she used the child strap too, you know, the part that is a loop and goes between your legs? Hahahaha. Oh my, she makes me laugh sometimes!

She didn’t have any young teenagers beside her to make her nervous. She loves the ride; I enjoy it, but honestly, it’s not something I would be upset if I missed. I like it, it’s fun, but it’s starting to make me a little dizzy. I’m starting to get a little dizzy when I see the movies that move the camera too much, but not in real life. In real life, apparently I wouldn’t get a little dizzy flying over California, but watching the movie makes me dizzy!

Like I said earlier, I love this! I love the feeling it gives my stomach and my chest, I imagine that I'm really going to space (which would terrify me in real life, I'm sure, but for a ride, it's a wonderful feeling!) and it's thrilling and exciting.

We got off the boat… and somehow decided to get a Napoleon. We LOVE the Napoleon. Here’s a LINK to when we tried the Napoleon the first time. Yummy.

We couldn’t finish them! We should have gotten only one to split. That’s what we should have done. The ice water was good too, so we were feeling refreshed and full of sweetness once we headed out to Italy.

I don’t recall waiting much at all, but I loved the restaurant. I should have walked right up to take a picture of the ovens, because I really wanted a good shot of them. Instead, I took a picture from our table, WAY across the room next to the windows.

Part 3B

I got the Strawberry Agua Fresca. It was delicious! I want a recipe! Anyone have one? I tried to make one that I found on line, and I must have screwed it up or something, because it tasted nothing like this, but was still tasty.

I think it was the Margherita pizza. I loved it, but Blanche isn’t much of a pizza eater. She liked it tough. The bread was okay, but we’d prefer butter to olive oil. Now olive oil in Spain on my toast was pretty good (and by Spain, I mean the real country, I do know that there is no Spain Pavilion in Epcot and I wouldn’t want to cause any confusion!), but on bread, I wasn’t too fond of it.

We liked the restaurant. It was pretty, clean. The CMs were friendly. Blanche went to the restroom and tons just hopped out of her way to let her through. It is tight between the tables though. I loved my fresca and my pizza. I'd definitely go back for those!

Part 4: A derailed train at Disney!

We headed out of the restaurant and wandered through World Showcase on the way out for a little break.

Part 6: More POR

We decided to head to DTD to eat at WPE. (Sorry, I love talking in Dis speak!) We went to Downtown Disney to eat at Wolfgang Puck Express. We chose to walk to the last bridge, closer to the Royal Rooms.

The boat goes from POR to POFQ to pick up more passengers. They only allow a certain number on at POR to make sure to leave room at POFQ. Then it goes to DTD and everyone gets off. On the return trip, it stops at POFQ to let anyone off, and only picks up those people who want a ride to POR.

We split it, because it had been so huge the last time we’d had it. It was delicious and worth it, but I probably could have eaten the whole thing. I just got a cookie for dessert or something, I should have got something better. The cookie was just okay. Wait! Maybe Blanche got the cookie and I got the brownie. Both were just okay. (Blanche, tell me if I’m wrong!)

I can’t remember what we did at this point. We may have gone to another hotel to catch a bus or something. But somehow we were in the Contemporary getting on the monorail to the TTC. Or maybe this is MK? I don’t do the monorails much because I’ve only stayed at a monorail resort once. I will again though! One day! LOL

Part 8: Extra Magic Hours at MK

We walked in to a major crowd/traffic jam at MK. This was why:

So we stood around there trying to figure out what to do. And Blanche talked on the phone to someone. I remember looking at a little kiosk while she did that. I didn’t want to travel anywhere because it would have been WAY too hard to find her again.

I told myself that I would watch the Main Street Electrical Parade another night and get some great shots of it.

We got to the end of Main Street and got some ice cream. It was a fat free or a light kind. Tasty, but I should have gone to the Ice Cream parlour and got some really great full fat ice cream!

We decided to sit on a little bench near POTC to watch the fireworks. I told myself I’d watch them from a different spot another day with my tripod. I had lots of time to see them again.

I had thought about the Barnstormer, but decided against it. I wanted to check the wait times for Space Mountain.

For some reason it took me a few minutes to find my way to Tomorrowland from there. I guess I was either getting tired, or with all the construction, the pathways were a little confusing!

I found my way around and realized that the wait for Space was still way too long. Oh well, I‘ll try again later.

So instead, I hopped on the TTA, also known as the People Mover. (Even though I’d never been on it with that name.)

Don’t you just love my shoes? I really should have bought a few extra pairs. I love them so much. I got them in Disneyland in March.
