This is the dawning of the rest of our lives... AT DISNEY WORLD!!!! COMPLETED 1/6!!!!

UGH that is really not cool at all. I hate the way TV butchers good movies. I mean, it's a crime for a film to be broken up with commercials *shudder* but editing parts out is just NO BUENO. EVER. Ugh.

IT'S ALL WHAM!!!!!!!!!! :bitelip:

Thank you! I doubt you'll be able to get yourself into Le Cellier but it's not that big of an issue this time of year because you can get Cheddar Cheese Soup at the Canada stand that's up for the Food & Wine Festival. They also have some of the other Le Cellier food there and the pretzel bread is the same as the bavarian pretzels on sale in Germany. So, it's really not a problem. Sci-Fi, however, YOU MUST NOT MISS!!! It is just one of the best places ever.

Ahh thank you, I can't wait to write it!! It's happening so soon! And yes, i'm quite relieved they brought Fantasmic back to more nights because the crowds when it was only twice a week were horrific, seriously.

It was weird, because in a movie like Rocky Horror, so much more could be edited out for TV, but it was really just that. Honestly. Weird.

UGH STACEY IS SO PERF.
She should be a character you can meet in the parks. I'd die.

I forgot about Wine and Food to be honest. I'm not yet old enough to drink in the states...so I kind of ignored it was going on. Yay! Cheese Soup. As gross as the name makes it sound. All of DIS can't be wrong about the taste.
I'll keep looking though. I managed to somehow get a 8:15am Crystal Palace reservation last Friday, so it's not out of this world.
Figures my luck I can get that, but a ADR at Scifi will be impossible. :worried:

TECHNICALLY IT'S WEDNESDAY. SO 11 DAYS~!

:ccat: Pre-Trip Report Update #3: Food and Wine Festival :ccat:

11 DAYS TIL DISNEY!!!!!

Hi everybody! Sorry I haven't really been on the ball when it comes to Pre-Trip updates. I'm not really a big PTR person. While most people like to talk about where they're staying, eating, and post their exact trip plans... I'm the opposite. I think it's more fun to find all that out in the actual trip report.

Also, I know I said Lee-Anne and I were going to get together and have a Disney themed day in NYC that I was going to do a big update on, but I seriously had almost NO time for anything in September cause I was working so much, and October has been almost just as busy. I was going to ask her if she could come this Saturday, the 13th, but then I remembered it's my Great Aunt Juney's 90th birthday party!!! That is going to be QUITE the bash. And then the next weekend, oh you know. WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD. So. We'll have to have our Disney themed day in Nov or Dec!

Another note- Lee-Anne's sister just gave birth to her first child, making Lee-Anne an aunt!!! She is sooo beautiful and both mom and baby are healthy. Ahh such a wonderful blessing! We were just talking about how she is going to go crazy on buying gifts for the baby at Disney and I said she has to buy her some tiny Baby's First Mickey Ears!!! Say it with me now: AWWWW!!!

OK so, onto the reason for this update, and the main reason why I am taking a trip in the fall this year: THE EPCOT INTERNATIONAL FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL.

The Food & Wine Festival is the best thing ever. I have not been to Disney during F&W in four years and that is just tragic because it is a glorious event. There is food everywhere, and it is beautiful.

Because I am an experienced F&W guest, I know that it can be quite the challenge to try everything you are interested in. So this year, I have made a list of the Top 15 things I absolutely MUST try at The Food & Wine Festival. You know, so we can DO all the MUST DOs that we really WANT to do, Stacey style. PRETZEL unt BEER!!! Ok, I'm stopping.

FYI, Lee-Anne isn't in on this list because she told me to literally plan everything (for the whole trip, not just F&W) without even telling her many details. She's always very against spoilers, and just wants everything to be new and fresh and surprising, and knowing how much I love Disney... she has trusted me with planning the trip of a lifetime! Part of this involves detailed food lists (If you think this one is long, forget about my cupcake list!). You're welcome! Here we goooo...

Lia's Top 15 Must-Have Items at The 2012 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

15. Ravioli di Formaggio io All'emiliana (Baked Cheese Ravioli, Creamy Beef Bolognese, Parmesan, Mozzarella) (Italy) - Not very adventurous as I'm 50% Italian and eat this stuff all the time, but I don't care. Gotta represent the homeland!
14. Roast Bratwurst in a Pretzel Roll (Germany) - Always wanted to try bratwurst, but never have. If I like it, I'm sure a Biergarten ADR will happen on the next trip since I've always wanted to try that place. And I could eat 400 of the pretzel rolls. DELICIOUS.
13. Trick'n Chick'n Curry w/ Basamati Rice (Terra) - I think this new vegetarian booth is interesting. I've never had any kind of chicken curry, nevermind fake chicken curry.
12. Coq au Vin sur Gratin de Macaroni (France) - We won't have time for an ADR at Le Chefs this time around, but luckily they offer the Gratin de Macaroni at the France booth! WOO! I can't wait to eat this again, and especially can't wait to meet the French guys working the booth. ;)
11. Chicken Chipotle Sausage w/ Sweet Corn Polenta and Onion Jam (Canada) Always wanted to try this. Sounds like a very fun & delicious combo of flavors.
10. Chicken Satay w/ Spicy Peanut Sauce & Pickle Vegetables (China) - I love peanut sauce, chinese food, and chicken of any kind, so I'm sure I'll love this.
9. Le Cellier Wild Mushroom Beef Filet W/ Truffle Butter Sauce (Canada) - SO HAPPY they're offering this! I've had this at Le Cellier before and I can not wait to eat it again!
8. Belgian Waffle w/ Berry Compote and Whipped Cream & Godiva Chocolate Liqueur Iced Coffee (Belgium) - Putting these together since I'll probably be having them at the same time. My mouth waters at the very thought.
7. Trio of Artisan Cheeses (Cheese) & Kerrygold Cheese Selection (Ireland) - Putting these together, cause what can I say, I LOVE CHEESE. And getting cheese plates is always so fun. I love sampling all different kinds.
6. Griddled Greek Cheese w/ Pistachios & Honey (Greece) - I love trying different/more exotic flavors of grilled cheese. I like to use a ton of parmesan and pesto when I make mine at home. YUM. I'm excited to try this one because pistachio is one of my favorite flavors. I'm sure it will make for an interesting grilled cheese!
5. Karage Hand Roll (Crispy Chicken Breast w/ Sushi Rice & Spicy Mayonnaise) (Japan) - I've never had sushi because the thought of raw fish makes me sick, but this selection doesn't seem to feature seafood, so we're all good! I'm excited to finally try a sushi roll.
4. Pumpkin Mousse w/ Crasins & Orange Sauce (Hops & Barley) - I LOVE anything pumpkin and practically live off of pumpkin flavored things in the fall.
3. Seared Filet of Beef w/ Smashed Sweet Potatoes & Braai Sauce (South Africa) - I've never had a filet with sweet potatoes before, and the combo has my mouth watering! Plus, I'm sure the sauce is beyond amazing.
2. Kalua Pork Slider w/ Sweet & Sour Dole Pineapple Chutney & Spicy Mayonnaise (Hawaii) - I've heard people talk about this so much and it just sounds so delicious. It's definitely one of my most anticipated items on the menu!
1. CANADIAN CHEDDAR CHEESE SOUP!!!!!!!!!! - This will always be my #1 choice at the Food & Wine Festival. It's one of my favorite things I have EVER eaten. If you visit the Food & Wine Festival and don't eat this, you have failed. I'm sorry, but it is just a fact. Also, I must issue a warning: if you arrive at Disney after I do, all the Cheddar Cheese Soup may be gone.

THERE YOU HAVE IT!!! I also have a list of all the food being offered, with everything I would eat highlighted. So 90% of it is highlighted, but my Top 15 are the biggest must-eats. AHHHHHHHH I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!

There's a whole other VERY extra special element of the trip that I have not told you guys yet, but that is adding a whole other level of magic ON TOP OF going to Disney with one of my BFFs, DURING Food & Wine, and finally going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. SO YEAH, this is just an extra special trip. I can't even process how amazing it's going to be. AHH. It's a whole other level of wham.

Speaking of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, I FINALLY purchased the last element of my costume the other day, and they guaranteed it to come 5 days before I leave, so YAY!!!! I'm really into Halloween, and I absolutely love dressing up, so the choice of what I would be for the party was extremely hard for me because I just wanted to do SO many different things. Plus, you have to take into consideration that it has to be within Disney's rules and most importantly, COMFORTABLE!!

When it finally dawned on me what to dress up as, I laughed because it was just so obvious - HOW had I not thought of this before? But I decided to put my own spin on it, and it took me quite a long time to find everything I wanted so that it could be perfect, and I'm not even done with the sewing yet... but i'm EXTREMELY happy with my decision! Of course, I'm not telling you what it is yet. You'll just have to wait and see!!! I will give one hint: It is Disney related. And everyone will instantly recognize who I am. But I do have my own little glittery spin on it. OK, enough clues. AHH I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM FINALLY GOING TO THIS PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lee-Anne is dressing up too, non-Disney related, but it is someone legendary... and she is definitely going to look gorgeous!

One more thing before I go- I extended the trip two days, because 1.) I COULD and 2.) I've been sooo stressed out and miserable lately that if I am really going to need those bonus days. So now I am going for 8 days instead of 6. WOOOO!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, Lee-Anne is sticking with the 6 days only because she has to get home. It's okay though, it won't be my first time soloing it at Disney!

I fully plan on my solo days being more of me relaxing and less of me running myself ragged, like I did when I took an entirely solo trip. During that "vacation", I learned what the word exhaustion truly meant on a whole other level. So hopefully I'll be able to control my "Must run around like crazy and do and see everything!!!" impulses. I actually don't have any concrete plans or ADRs yet! I finally figured out where I'm staying (I will be moving resorts on Day 6), so I'm going to call Disney later today and modify my reservation. Then, I will come up with a rough plan for my last 2 days. Right now I'm thinking: Food & Wine Festival, Downtown Disney, AKL, and Disney's Boardwalk as the 3 main places I want to spend time at, however depending on how the trip goes, that could change! I also think I'll probably end up at Sci-Fi a 2nd time. I have it booked for earlier in our trip, but I always end up wanting to go again by the end. Wait, what was that about me not doing too much in my 2 solo days? Oops. Haha. It's really gonna be more like 3 solo days, cause Lee-Anne is gonna have to leave around noon on Day 6. :( So we'll see what happens!!

Ok, it's 2:35 am now... and I'm not even tired because I've been having more trouble sleeping than usual because I AM TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP. But I should really go try!!!

11 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance3: I STILL DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! DO YOU??!?!

I like to share where we're eating/staying, but not anything more specific than that. Like I'll say I'm going to Crystal Palace but I won't say, FOR DINNER ON THIS EXACT DATE AND TIME! Because I totally agree, it's more fun not to know when you're reading! And I usually have to share resorts too because I usually end up spilling the beans somehow anyway.

Your Food and Wine list sounds amaaaazing. I've never been to Disney in the fall before and I want to SO BADLY! I'm so excited for you! Although the counting down thing isn't quite as fun for me because for me, 11 days means I'm getting older. :lmao:

I personally would love to see your cupcake list! hahahaha. AND... I just feel like you're gonna be Rapunzel at the Halloween party. Just a slight feeling, but I bet whatever it is will be awesome! :thumbsup2

It was weird, because in a movie like Rocky Horror, so much more could be edited out for TV, but it was really just that. Honestly. Weird.

UGH STACEY IS SO PERF.
She should be a character you can meet in the parks. I'd die.

That is odd!!! I really don't know what these editors are thinking like 99% of the time.

She really is! I wish she would appear at Disney special events. I would be first in line.

Oh, it's SO much more about the food than the wine! I am of age, and I don't even plan on drinking that much. It's not worth it to fill my stomach up when I need more space for the food. :lmao: Trust me, make time in your trip to do Food and Wine, it's one of the best things at Disney!

Yay for Crystal Palace! Le Cellier is a lot harder to get in at though. And like I said, they have some Le Cellier stuff at the stand in Canada. So don't worry. But OMG I really hope you can book Sci-Fi! If you can't, I'd still suggest going up to the podium (if you're willing to wait awhile) and asking if they have any availability. It's SO worth it!

11 DAYS!!!!!!!!!AHHHHh!!!!

Yeah, that's a good way to do it. I'm having trouble keeping it all a secret. AHH! I just booked my last 2 resort nights with Disney and I want to sit in a specific location so hopefully that will work out. AHH I just can't believe I'm going!!!!!!!!jklfhlskjdhfkljh!!!

I'm sure you will visit during the fall someday and get to experience it!!

Oh man, I feel the same way about my birthdays... at this point they just make me feel super old. Even though I am super young. But still. I wish I was like 12 hahaha.

Maybe I will have to post it yet! And no, I am not going as Rapunzel. :( I wish. I wanted to, but the good Rapunzel wigs are $500! And I only wanted to do it if I could have the epic long braided wig with the flowers cause I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to Halloween costumes. I know that's silly but I don't care. Even if I did have the money for the wig, a big heavy wig like that while trying to enjoy the party would not be comfortable. BUT I am really happy with what I ended up choosing and I CAN NOT WAIT!!! Ahh!!!

DECEMBER 12, 2011
Day 8, Part 4 In Which I Fall Asleep While Trying to Stay Up And Stay Up While Trying to Fall Asleep

HELLO!! Yes I'm updating again so soon!! You're welcome!!! I probably won't finish this TR before we leave IN 11 DAYS but I at least want to make a dent since I have off from work today. OH not having to work is so lovely. I have just been obsessing over Disney all day. I switched an ADR and then I was on the phone with Disney for like an hour adding 2 days to my reservation. I am pretty sure I'm gonna get the room location I want so YAY! Where I am staying will remain a secret but I am very excited to stay there!!! AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK. Onto the update!

While I was at AKL, my mom and I had been texting, and decided to meet up at Hollywood Studios, so I hopped on a bus over there.

It's weird, but I've finally started calling it Hollywood Studios. R.I.P The Disney/MGM Studios, or how we lovingly called it, simply "MGM". Things change, life moves on, companies part ways. Le sigh. I actually like just calling it Hollywood, though. Cause it is! Everything in Disney is real. MAGIC IS REAL!!! (Lee-Anne and I say that to each other all the time.) Ok, let's move on.

When I entered the park, I saw my mom right away, sitting and waiting for me on a bench. I was so happy, cause I was kind of lonely being solo that morning!

Of course, we instantly made our way to Toy Story Mania because I had not been on it yet that day and that was unacceptable.

I guess I was in the picture taking mood, because I sure snapped a lot of photos...

I even took a photo of the practice round, cause it's not like I need practice!!! :hyper:

You know the drill. The wait wasn't long, there was screaming and bloodshed, I clobbered my mom and everyone else in our vehicle, etc etc. I'm trying to find new and exciting ways to report on riding Toy Story Mania, but I did it SO MUCH that I'm just out of adjectives. It's my favorite ride ever besides Tower of Terror. I don't think anything can ever beat that.

7799096288_f57b838b72_z.jpg

I had never noticed this door at TSM before... so cute.

7799095892_eea6ca73a1_z.jpg

My mom was really hungry and said she was in the mood for some fish and chips, so we headed over to the ABC Commissary for that.

7799095596_4097ccb4ac_z.jpg

I've heard lots of bad reviews about the Commissary, but the fish and chips are really good here! I don't even like 99% of seafood, and yet I like this particular fried fish. Disney magic, I tell ya.

I pretty much failed at taking good TR notes toward the end of the trip (something I'm REALLY going to try and do better next time), soooo I'm not really sure what we did. All I remember is wandering around, taking it slow, shopping, and hanging out. OH, I know we tried to do the Backlot Tour (we haven't seen it in ages) but the line was inexplicably like 40 minutes?! I mean, Disney was mostly empty during our whole trip and the Backlot Tour is what had the longest line aside from TSM and RnR? Ok then.

I did take some pictures, at least! Woo! Look no further for A+ Disney Trip Reporting.

This is one of my favorite Hidden Mickeys.

PIZZA PLANET!!!!! Did you guys hear that Pizza Planet has a CAPPUCCINO cupcake now? I am gonna have to score myself one of those bad boys, if I'm not too full from eating everything Starring Rolls serves. I AM GOING IN 11 DAYS YOU GUYS. OH MY GOD.

I never noticed this monkey strapped to the rocket before! It's a cute little nod to the first Toy Story film.

Mom had mentioned how we hadn't seen One Man's Dream in a few years, so that's where we went next. I read every single thing and really spent the time taking it in. I'm such a sucker for anything having to do with Walt's life and history, so I really enjoyed myself in here. I took a BILLION pictures in here, all of which I'm not going to include. But I picked a few favorites to show you:

I loved learning about the multiplane camera straight from Walt's mouth. I had totally forgotten about that and what an innovation it was.

If you're not familiar, basically the Walt Disney Company invented this amazing camera that changed the history of animated films forever. I'm not going to explain it in detail, but you should totally look it up cause it's quite interesting (especially if you're into film like me!). The first movie they used it for was Sleeping Beauty, and the difference is really stunning. It's quite relevant in today's times, with 3D being used so much. When I saw Beauty & the Beast 3D earlier this year, I noticed how well different things stood out, thanks in part to the multiplane camera that was invented all those years ago.

We only went through about half of the exhibit because I was SO TIRED that I could barely keep my eyes open. Plus, the movie was about to start and we didn't want to wait for the next showing. I was seriously about a half hour away from just leaning against a wall and falling asleep.

I posted on Twitter:
Always cry during One Man's Dream. Always!

It's just so amazing the way Walt followed his dreams and what he ended up creating. I've talked about this many times in my TRs, so I won't repeat myself, but the point is: Follow your dreams. Just do it. Imagine if Walt had not? Yeah... no. I don't wanna live in a world without Disney.

At this point, I hit the wall and totally could not go on. I said to my mom, "I'm sorry, but if I don't go take a nap right now I am going to pass out." Mom said something along the lines of, "Sorry? Are you kidding? I'm so tired I had to fight to keep my eyes open during the (One Man's Dream) movie!" Yeah, it was Day 8. We were definitely on the same "channeling Sleepy the dwarf" wavelength.

I posted on Twitter:
This happens toward the end of every trip - the fatigue suddenly hits me and I HAVE TO take a nap before continuing on. #cantkeepmyeyesopen

Yup. Sometimes there needs to be sleeping in Disney!!!

We decided we'd feel more like living, breathing human beings again after a good nap, so we headed out of the park and back to Pop Century to do just that.

Once we got back to the room, I changed right away and got into bed instantly.

Of course, as soon as my head hit the pillow, I became impossibly restless. This happens to me all the time and it's one of the most frustrating things in the world. I can be so tired I'm falling asleep standing up, and then when I lay down, it's like someone flips the ON switch.

Of course, I then proceeded to lay there and obsess about everything in my life for about an hour while my mom slept like a baby.

Oh, it was terrible. To be lying there...in bed... IN DISNEY!!!!!!!!! and be stuck in my head, worrying about stuff back home. Just awful.

After about 45 minutes I gave up, and decided to go for a walk to clear my head. I left my mom a note, and walked the long way to Everything Pop, where I got a Mickey Rice Crispie treat. Sorry for the lack of pictures here, I was in a pretty crummy mood with the trip winding down and all. I did NOT want to leave and I was really frustrated about not being able to sleep, because that meant I would be tired all night, and feel even worse. Luckily, the Mickey Rice Crispie treat helped (how could it not? Really). Even though I hadn't slept, walking around, getting some air (and sugar!) made me feel less tired. Then, my mom texted me saying she was awake and asking what I wanted to do, so I headed back to the room.

The plan was to go to Epcot until closing, and then take the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom for more late night Livin' It Up. My mom got tired again just hearing that, and said she needed more resting time if we were gonna stay out late. I totally understood, but I had to go to Downtown Disney to return the tights I bought earlier in the trip (you can only get your money back within 6 days of your purchase).

I told her to hang out at Pop and relax while I made the trip over to DTD, and we'd meet at Epcot later. I was kinda bummed that we were separating again, but I didn't want my mom to be super tired at the parks, so I knew it was definitely for the best.

Up Next: I cheer up! I mean, this is WALT FREAKIN' DISNEY WORLD after all. Aaaaaawwww Livin It Up, love that feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lia's Top 15 Must-Have Items at The 2012 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

I'm not going to reprint the list...I think I gained 3 pounds just reading it! That list is fantastic. Take lots of pics. DW and I are going next year to F&W and we cannot wait!

Hope you rested up. Great TR. Keep it coming!!

I can't believe you've never had a bratwurst! You're in for a treat. :thumbsup2

I haven't been on the Backlot Tour in ages! It always seems to have a long line, and I'm not entirely sure why. The trams run pretty consistently if I remember correctly.

One Man's Dream is awesome. I could spend so much time in there just looking at everything!

UGH. Not being able to sleep when you're tired is so awful! Especially when you could be spending the time that you're trying to fall asleep doing something fun.

Oh I know. I'm trying so hard to eat impeccably well before my trip because I know how much damage I'm going to do while in Disney... totally failed today but that cheesecake was speaking to me, I had to do it. Oops.

I plan on taking pics of everything and doing a dining report :thumbsup2

It will be worth the year wait when you guys finally get to go!!

Thank you!!!

Good to hear! I think I'm in for a lot of treats! I want to be more adventurous with what I eat and F&W is a great place to do that!

Yeah they do.. I'm honestly surprised by the popularity of it, the general opinion here seems to be that it's outdated. I always enjoyed it though.

Me too! I went back later on in the trip to finish looking at everything!

I know! It was really frustrating. Luckily, our night ended up being much better though!

11 DAYS!!!!!!!!!AHHHHh!!!!
I GOT A RESERVATION AT LE CELLIER.
TWO OF THEM. 2:50 and 7:50. BUT IDK WHAT TO CHOOSE AND AHH IM JUST AHHHHHHHHH.

Sorry. Uhm. Yeah. xD

After looking at your list of food to eat, I can see that now. I'm worried about all the eating I'm gonna be doing, but then I remember, Disney food doesn't have calories. :)

Also, I enjoyed that update. One Man's Dream is going to be a first for me this year, and I look forward to it so much. 10 DAYS.

YES I'M FINALLY ALL CAUGHT UP.

Damn Lia, you're getting REAL popular over here! I would expect nothing less from the Queen of the Poly of course.

You know, I've made 2 trips to NYC in the last yr and we were still never able to meet up. But then again, we've got that Girls of the DIS trip right? I wonder if I can make a quick trip in the middle of wedding planning....

It's so awesome that you were there when the gorillas were so active! I can't even imagine experiencing that. My eyes would've been bugged out and my jaw on the floor the whole time. I'm just fascinated by these animals. I'm also like that whenever I see a large lizard MOVE. It's like, "OH MY GAWD THIS THING THAT RARELY MOVES IS MOVING FOR ME. IT MUST LOVE ME." This actually happened this past weekend. When I was in this bizarre comic store that had a snake, a giant lizard and a WALLABY. This place just blew my mind.

I just LOVE your pics of HS. I can't believe it's my 2nd fave park but it's probably the park I've explored the LEAST. That's going to change on my honeymoon.

Oh yeah, to expand on my TV theme, we're naming each table after one of our favourite shows. For the board that tells people where they're sitting, I'm making it look like a TV guide. We're also going to have Hidden mickeys all over the reception. I'll go into this more in my PTR that I will have up soon I'm hoping.

BTW, where do you host your pictures? It looks like it's the only site my work doesn't block.

10 DAYS.

OH MY GOD... SERIOUSLY?! That's amazing! You should look at the lunch & dinner menus... they're a little bit different. That way you can pick which one sounds best and then pick a time. So exciting! It's really rare to get a Le Cellier reservation this close to the date, you're lucky!

haha THAT IS SO RIGHT. Calories and fat do not exist at Disney. Actually in a way it's kind of true, I usually find that the amount of walking I do balances out the massive calorie/fat intake. So I try not to worry about it.

Thank you! It's a beautiful attraction, you will love it!! AHHHHH 10 DAYS!!!!!!

YES I'M FINALLY ALL CAUGHT UP.

Damn Lia, you're getting REAL popular over here! I would expect nothing less from the Queen of the Poly of course.

Hey Yuki! Aww, I didn't know you were back in NYC. How was your trip? I'm sooo excited for you about the wedding, ahhh!!!

LOL the store had a pet WALLABY? Wow. I've never even seen one before. That is so cool! And yeah, I don't know where our awesome luck comes from when we're at AK, but we always seem to experience something special! Disney magic... :smickey:

Thank you! I love the park so much, it's hard not to snap pictures of everything. I especially love the way all the buildings are designed, and the colors, and the fact that the whole park does kind of function like a working film set. Ahh It's just amazing. I can't believe I will be going there in 10 DAYS!!!!!!FHDSLKJDH!!!!

Oh my GOD that sounds like such a cool and unique wedding!! What shows are you using for the table names? That is so awesome about the Hidden Mickeys too. I LOVE IT.

I use Flickr. ;)

I chose the lunch, simply because we didn't have enough dining credits to spare two for dinner. HOWEVER IT'S STILL AVAILABLE SO IF YOU WANT IT GO GO GO GO. 7:50 October 23rd.

Walking? I'm more...jogging/running/hurdling over small children at Disney World.
Okay, minus the hurdling.
There's just so much to see. And then I miss everything by slow running jogging running that I have to go by it again. It's a vicious cycle, but walking just isn't my style there. =P

I'm gonna cry. Everywhere.
The last 3 days everything Disney has made me super emotional. I don't get it. xD

It was weird, because in a movie like Rocky Horror, so much more could be edited out for TV, but it was really just that. Honestly. Weird.

Hey Alex I just realized, I think we were watching Rocky Horror at the same time! I tuned in right at "Touch me" and my dad is like, "Are you watching porn???" Yes dad, right in front of everyone at home, I'm watching porn.

Liaaaa, I'll let you know when I'm in the city next. I seriously honestly to-the-bone LOVE NYC.

For the table names, our head table will be Game of Thrones and we're going to have dragon goblets instead of champagne flutes. FIRE AND BLOOD baby! My family will be sitting at Arrested Development (cause we're just as disfunctional) and his family will be at HOUSE M.D because his mom loves that show. Other shows are Community, Whose Line is it Anyway?, Adventure Time, Amazing World of Gumball and a bunch of others we haven't come up with yet.

I'm even thinking of making little tiny tvs as place cards.

Thanks anyway, but we already have a signature meal planned!! I will definitely try to book Le Cellier next time though.. it's been way too long since I've been there. SO excited for the Cheddar Cheese Soup at F&W though, oh my god.

:lmao: Trust me, I relate to the running and hurdling over small children thing. Oh man. I'M TOO EXCITED.

"I'm gonna cry. Everywhere." Yep, that pretty much sums it up!!! Ahhh we are going SO SOON!! Time is moving slower than a SNAIL.

That sounds SO AMAZING!! You guys are really creative. It will be so much more fun for your guests as well than just a normal wedding. I mean, all weddings are fun (free food and liquor, yay!) but a TV/Disney themed wedding? Oh man.

Thank you!!! OMG CONGRATULATIONS ON GETTING INTO THE COLLEGE PROGRAM!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!! And getting to go in December too? That's just perfect.

Thanks so much! I'm glad my TRs make you smile. :flower3:.

Thank you so much! I think you're the first person to actually say congratulations to me so that actually means a lot! I feel a little bad that I made my parents book a trip to Disney for about a month before I move there and get CM benefits but 1) It's for graduation. 2) Christmas decorations will be up. 3) I won't be able to just take an extended non interrupted vacation once I'm there. Plus HOW could I wait until January? I'm only human! I want to write a trip report for my December trip but it will feel wrong to write about the Polynesian while its monarch is away.

Back up to speed, once again! Sorry I haven't commented in awhile. I say do not underestimate the powers of High School. Seriously! But I loved reading all your updates. So glad to hear someone on the DIS enjoys the Vacation films (sorry, but Christmas Vacation is the best... ;)) and Miss NeNe Leakes as much as I do along with Ramona and the housewives like I do (yes, I'm a fan... shhhhh...) though I will say Beverly Hills and the OC is where it's at for me, but NeNe is too awesome to be ignored! Anyways, your updates have got me getting all Disney giddy whilst laughing at the same time (THE SQUIRREL!)! Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Your upcoming trip sounds awesome!!! Love your food choices at Food and Wine- I can't wait to hit it up next year!

I have to tell you- I had the cappuccino cupcake at Pizza Planet this August when we were there- DELISH. Oh my gosh, I think it was the best cupcake (of the six I had! haha!!!!) It was soooo good.

I am? Wow!! You deserve many congrats! It's honestly one of the most exciting things ever and I am so happy for you! =)

Don't feel bad about your Christmas trip. Oh man, those decorations + Holiday Illuminations + Osborne Lights + all the other Christmas stuff is so worth it! I'm sad I'm missing Disney during the holidays this year but hopefully next year I can go back during that time!

I give you permission to write about the Polynesian if you so desire! There you go, permission granted from the Queen!

Don't apologize for not commenting, I don't mind! It's nice that anyone even reads my endless Disney ramblings. I mean my other TR went on for 18 months and this one has been going for 10... soo....

Thank you so much!! Glad you're still enjoying ;)

Ahhh I'm so excited!!! Lucky you getting to go next year! It will be worth the wait!

OMG really?? Better than the cupcakes at Starring Rolls???? I can't believe it. I was wondering if maybe they bake the Cappuchino cupcakes in the same place as the Starring Rolls ones and then just move them to Pizza Planet cause I was hoping it would be just as good as the ones they serve there. Ahhh I can not wait to try it!

I was SHOCKED when I tasted it and it was so good. I also have to say, by the time I got to Starring Rolls, the Butterfinger were all sold out. *Cries* So I didn't get to try that one. We had the Red Velvet (also Delish) and a chocolate peanut butter (yummy). We had cupcakes at the Boardwalk Bakery and Animal Kingdom that were just okay, nothing amazing.

You will have to let me know what you think!!
