I am taking my wife, 5yo and 1yo DDs with me for a convention next week in Orlando then on wed-sun we´ll switch hotel to Hawthorn suites

They will be taking my wife and girls to Epcot on Monday and here is our plan for the rest of the week:

WED(17)- HS heading directly for the rest of the day and make check at the hotel at night.
THU- MK Is it a good idea to go there this day? will it be less crowdy? We know we´ll have to leave at 4pm for there is a MNSSHP that evening.
FRI - AK
SAT- MK

Or will we be better going to HS on THU?

We already have the touring plans and everything but appreciate your suggestions. We have been to Disneyland a couple of times but it will be
our first time for the whole family in Orlando. My daughter is counting the days. :cool1: Thanks.

I would try to avoid MK on the weekend personally. They tend to have the largest crowd level then. I do always like AK on weekends and Epcot as they tend to to feel less crowded to me. If you want to see Fantasmic, make sure it is on the schedule for the day you are there.

This is a great time of year to go. Enjoy yourselves.

You don't need to leave MK at 4 just because of the halloween party. 4 is when they start letting party people in, but I believe park hours for regular guests run through 7. Of course, it might be more crowded between 4-7... We are NOT going to the party, but have a full day planned, followed by dinner at 5:15 at the Plaza on Main St, so we will just leave the park after dinner.

Thanks for the replies!!

I will change AK for SAT and make MK on two weekdays.

It´s good to know we can stay till 7 at MK the day of MNSSHP.
Who knows maybe if the girls are not too tired and we can still find tickets, we´d stay for the event. :yay:

I think that if you're looking at a Thursday in mid-August, there is a good chance that there will be tickets left on the day of the show. If it's sold out, then it would be too crowded anyway and you wouldn't want to go. :)

ghtx, you´re right, we will take the decision the very same day. Thanks!!! :thumbsup2

We´ve just come back from WDW. We had a GREAT time. :dance3:

WED morning I still had an activity at the convention and with the change of hotels and unpacking
we decided to head for DTD in the afternoon and save energy for the rest of the week.

THU MK- Crowds were very low bc of the MNSSHP (tickets were sold out for that night) and we were able do lots of rides.
That was good as it was our only day at MK. My 11mo DD started crying when the winnie pooh ride ended so we had to do it again it took only 5mins.
When my younger daughter saw any of the characters, she would start laughing and could not take her eyes of them -the magic of Disney is unique.

We did MHS on FRI and AK on SAT and did all the rides we intended.

Again, thanks for the suggestions. :)
