2013 Free Dining Watch

When I looked at the offer on the chase website (it has since disappeared from the site) it said to book fast that the offer will be offered to the general public on the 10th.

anyone know what the discount codes are for stay play dine? its not showing up on the special offers page yet

I called at 7am (6 my time) and was speaking with someone within 5 minutes. She told me that the only special she had was room only discount that would save us around $150. No stay, play, dine. Then she asked me to call back later in the day because the system wouldn't update our reservation. Grrrr! I set my alarm for nothing. :-(

Grrrrr! Are you kidding?! Just got through too and they told me the same thing.. call back at 9am. She didnt say whether or not stay/play/dine was available. She only said when I called back that "we would see whats available"

Pretty sure it was T64 when it was Disney Card holders. I don't know if it will be different for GP.

I noticed that it wasn't on the special offer page too. pirate:

On the other page i have been watching for discounts they were saying they crashed the system this morning already and they would have to call back.

Yeah, system updates the day before deals come out. Who would have thought there would be problems. :rotfl2:

Ours was slightly different than yours, but the S/P/D option gave us about $1200 off.

We have 3 adults 2 kids, we're at POR garden view, 8 day hops, DxDP.

When you price it out when you call, ask them to check POR for you if you're willing to switch and see if that would save you even more. POR has been getting higher discounts than POFQ lately - it's worth checking.

I don't know the exact formula, but you'll probably save around $800 or so.

So, I am not sure what happened, but I saved a whopping $30.00. I'm SO disappointed. I'm not sure what the problem was/is :/

Did she tell you specifically to call back at nine? Mine said she didn't have a specific time, just sometime later today. Of course, she was not the most helpful or friendly person I've ever spoken with... Also, I've got to get one of those countdowns. Lol.

yes she said to specifically call back at 9. My guess is that they are trying to conduct some form of crowd control by telling people to call back at different times

I was also told that a discount was applied to my initial ressie.... but when I priced out the trip online with NO discount (because one was not offered) I had the same price. The CM insisted there was most certainly a discount in place already and that I had a great price, and said they apply discounts automatically without me having to call in periodically :confused3

I just called 2 minutes ago and after inputting my reservation # etc I was immediately connected to a CM and she said the system is still "updating" and I should call back in an hour. I guess another cup of coffee is in order:)

i have seen so many people on this thread saying they saved close to $1,000 or more on the stay play dine deal. can someone tell me how that works? i thought the deal was up to $600...if you book more days do they apply more savings? i would love to figure out how this works, my AAA agent is booking for me today and i want to make sure she gets as much off as possible :) we are booking a 9 day w/ 5 day park hopper.

I finally got through (their systems are up and running now)

Before the package discount (S/P/D) our trip was 2767.00 That includes:

2 Adults @ Coronado Springs
7 Day magic your way with Park Hop
Standard Dining Plan 1 snack/1 CS/ 1TS
Trip Insurance

I was able to figure out the Room Only discount online and then add all the above and that came out to be $2520.64 (savings = $247)

The CM applied the package discount and the new package cost came out to $2181.00. (savings = $586! :cheer2:)

Obviously I applied the package discount over the Room only.

I'm bummed there wasn't a free dining offer since that would have saved us $770 :sad2: On the bright side though, the CM did say if they did offer free dining, that I could call back and they would apply that instead. She said even if it were less than 45 days out that a free dining offer would likely be worth paying the change fee which I believe is $65.

Yay! Thanks for the update. I have been on hold for 20 minutes so far. Hopefully the system will stay up long enough for me to get through.

:cool1: We are in!! With better numbers than what I previously worked out to be the best possible price with the S/P/D!

Jan 29 to Feb 12 POR preferred room
dining plan
10 day base tickets

$5096 or $2389 less than regular!!

Makes getting up before dark and looking at the snow worth it!

Hello everyone I'm from Argentina, as they did in order to have the offer, on page no nothing. Phone call?
thank you very much:dance3:

Did anybody find the S/P/D offer online so far or did everybody make it by phone so far ? I can only find the room only discount only...

Thanks for help!
