I would just like the reservation website to come back up. I'm going into withdrawals not being able to price out different scenarios!! :rotfl2:

No Kidding!!!! I have like 5 people waiting for me to price out trips for them tomorrow (i'm a TA) and all I'm thinking is -- forget you all, I need to see if it affects my own trip first. :hyper:

i'll take anything. because *anything* will beat the 0% off that I currently have, lol.

That's what I'm thinking too.

I think I'd choose the dine/stay/play one because we're at AoA so it will be the least amount in the room discount area.

Hmmmm I wonder if the ticket/dining plan offer will be better than our military discount....they are offering 4 day park hoppers for $150 but I will need to add some days since I can't do just four days in the parks!!!!

I can make ADR's starting Friday and I have a plan set up, but I can't decide whether to make the ADR's or not. We will be off-site this trip (gulp!) so no dining plan. It would be so very much cheaper to eat off-site. My head knows this, but my heart likes to stay in the Disney bubble.

When it was just me and the kids last Christmas my DS thought it was funny that I visible relaxed and got happier when we drove back into the bubble.

I feel like we are saving a lot of money staying at WBC and I should continue the savings by eating in our villa or off-site. And then I think...hey, we are saving money staying at WBC so we could take the savings and use it for magical "in bubble" meals.

For example,
Le Chef's de France - DH said it was easily the best cooked steak he ever had and we live in Texas

50's PT - DH had not eaten here yet but the kids and I really enjoyed it...would it be as good without them?

LTT - we both really like LTT (great location :))

Raglan Road - new for both of us...

Crystal Palace - I love a CP breakfast pre-opening and would like to try dinner

Via Napoli - new to DH, the gelato is fantastic (yes, I liked the pizza too)

Be Our Guest - how do I skip this? maybe for lunch? it looks so beautiful

I will be up with everybody else to price out the new discount to see if I can make staying on -site make more sense than it does at the moment. I will admit that I am a picky eater and after checking out the menus I know I will be ordering the steaks several times making it more expensive. As may my DH and we can't share since his steak is much less cooked than mine.

Good luck to everybody pricing out the new discount with me tomorrow. I can't wait to hear how everybody makes out.

.... Although, now they are reporting those same dates on the discounts thread, so maybe....:confused3

I'm pretty sure neither will beat the 40% off that I have, but I'm interested.... popcorn::

I have a 40% as well with our military disc. So I am anxious to see the difference! Joining you with popcorn now! popcorn::

you can choose from room % discount or the Stay/Play/Dine discount which I believe is discounted dining plan (adults pay kids prices)

The S/P/D discount may be just what I need to solve my tickets dilemma - man I wish I could buy my military park hoppers this year! lol Oh well we had an amazing extended vacation with them last year so I can't complain!

I agree - how do you skip the new Be Our Guest! I am going on a cruise in Dec, which has a one day stop in Port Canaveral - so we are taking a one day excursion to the MK - my plan - eat lunch at BOG!

I feel so excited about the 7am discount possibility - it's like waiting on Christmas Eve! lol :santa:

Well, I thought I was settled on my ADRs but last night I started rearranging them. I've got until the 17th to get settled with my plans. I am wondering if I should try to push BOG to the end of our stay since it seems that it will be in high demand. Then I started thinking about do I really want to go to DTD our first night after eating at Boma (not a park day) or would I rather go to 'Ohana and wander the Poly afterwards? I don't like DTD at all (the shopping gene skipped my sister and I) but dh likes the boat ride. Or maybe we could do 'Ohana, wander the Poly, then catch the bus to DTD. Hmm, that sounds like a plan.

Well the S/P/D plan is online and the CMs on the ressie system have it as well, but it doesn't cover any of us - it ends March 7th. Either way, my CM told me that my military disc. is better than even the employee discount and the S/P/D won't really save me much money....

For those interested... S/P/D Plan

Same here with ADR shuffling. We're hoping to eat at Ohana the night DS2 and I are booking to do the Pirates & Pals cruise ... eat, wander the Poly, head over to the Contemporary for 8:30 p.m. arrival time.

I can't decide when to make the ADR for. :confused3 Does 5:30 p.m. to get into Ohana, eat, look around a bit and make it to the Contemporary seem like plenty of time? Too much? We'll have a car.

TJDisneyMama, where in Mass are you from? We are in the metrowest area - Medway. We will be there the same week in April - school vacation. Crowds are looking in our favor this year with the early Easter !

I just have a few questions I am sure you can help with. I am thinking of booking CP for breakfast. Can anyone tell me how early to book it prior to opening. Do you take a few pictures first or have breakfast and get out early enough to take pictures?? We would want to be done before the gate opens. I am thinking of April 16th. Also, I have only made ADR's when staying on site. So does this mean that I have to go on line each day to make a ressie??
Thanks for you help!

if park opens at 9 the earliest breakfast is 8:00 (or may be 8;05 technically).
Yes, you have to go online every day if you're not staying onsite, vs. being able to make up to 10 days (if you want to book right on the 180-day mark)
