Test Track To Reopen December 6th

December 6th.... hmmm.... I seem to remember hearing about something else opening on that date...

Bummer....

That other thread had my hopes up for the week of Thanksgiving! :sad1:

Dec 6th is the grand opening. Meant to make it part of the press events for New Fantasyland.

Remember, New Fantasyland also opens Dec 6th and is previews well before that (I'm scheduled to ride Mermaid with a CM friend on Oct 22nd).

Nov 21st is still the likely "ride needs to be able to accept guests" date. Then they soft open, do CM/AP previews if they want to, etc..

Finally something officialish.

Thanks for posting! :thumbsup2

Cue all the soft-open/will-it-be-open-for-my-trip-two-weeks-before questions.

Nope. Our Epcot day is 12/10. I'll just start the "I hope there are no delays" refrain.

That's great!! We will be at MK for the MVMCP on the 6th to see Fantasyland, and then at Epcot on the 7th!!! Can't wait!!!

Me too :) Except my friend is DH:goodvibes What time are you going? Maybe we'll be in the same group!

Well its good to have official news.. Atleast it will be open when we are there! Hoping for soft opening for some of you!!

Yay!!!! My trip starts on Dec 13, and we plan on hitting Epcot the first night!party:

in the comments, it notes that fastpass and singlerider will have an expedited queue, which i guess means no design studio portion. it will be interesting to see how that affects the fastpass and standby lines as I assume most people will want to "design" their car at least one time. shorter fast pass and longer standby? that means I would probably hit up TT standby at rope drop and then fast pass Soarin'.

Our family of 5 goes to WDW from Colorado an average of twice a year and Test Track is one of our 'must-do' rides. Was there with middle son in July and boy did we ever miss that ride... So happy it will be open again when my husband and I visit pre-cruise this coming Feb :hyper:

We will be at Epcot from Dec 2-3. Never experienced any rides that have had so-called "soft openings". When we arrive to the park those mornings, how will we know if TT is open that day? Will the CM's tell us or do we just walk over there and hope for the best?

That.
