Event Registration
We are experiencing technical difficulties with the Annual Passholder New Fantasyland preview sign-ups that have made it necessary to delay the sign-up date one week. The Walt Disney World Annual Passholder New Fantasyland preview sign-ups will now begin on Monday, October 15 at 12:00 noon Eastern Time.

Driving into work today I was thinking: boy, it sure seems crazy for them to be rolling this out and brining parts of the system down later today.

Who knows if that was part of the glitch. I'll give them credit for stopping a process before it hits the wall. But waiting another week to see if we can sign up. Bummer!! The rest of my trip is set...was excited to get this piece in place.

I thought it was odd for them to be taking sign ups today in light of the other system updates as well. I agree, glad the recognize the problem, whatever it is, and are delaying to fix it.

No, as posted on the duplicate thread, they tried to use the new event reservation system last week for the cm previews, and the system failed. They've been working on it since, and hope to have it up for cm's sometime this week.

i'm guessing this goes for D23 signups as well? i'm at work at the D23 site is blocked here, so i was going to have my boyfriend try to sign me up. need to tell him not to bother if that's the case.

So far, the D23 website says registration starts at 10:00 am today, pacific time.

Gonna add my gripe and say boooo I was all set and excited to sign up. Oh well...I've waited this long, I can take another week i suppose! Better for them to fix the problems than try to get on and have it not work.

I have a question with registering my childrens annual passes, so that we can try and get the fantasyland preview tickets. Do I need to create an account for each childs annual pass that wants to go to the preview? Or is there a way for me to register multiple anuual passes on my account?

Maybe. They're using a barcode to scan for entry, so you must print your confirmation. I can't tell if the confirmation is an email or if it is a webpage that you must print. I want to sign up on an Ipad as I won't be home. But it doesn't look like that's possible unless the confirmation is in e-mail form. So I'm going to have to haul a laptop in case I have to save a webpage.

An AP holder with one account can sign up others with APs. The limit is either 6 or 8, can't recall which.

No, the home page says tickets available but no link is present on the page where you register. I guess D23 registration is either delayed or sold out.
