Anyone have suggestions on cocktails, wine, beer? And what WDW places to get them?

I really enjoyed the Magical Star which is available at pretty much any sit down restaurant. The Welsh Dragon from the pub in UK was also awesome.

I heard they have boddingtobs beer in england in WSC at epcot, my brother loves the episode of friends where they mention it lol "boddingtons!" Is it any good?

My fiancé loves Boddington's. He can't resist going in to the Rose & Crown pub for a pint of Boddington's and a single malt flight. It's very smooth.

I'm sure you'll get lots of advice about this slush drink or that. The ones in the France pavilion of Epcot are very popular. I say go for the vastly underrated Italian Margherita in the Italy pavilion. It's grappa, limoncello and lime juice, and it's delicious. Also, anything that Jellyrolls has on special is bound to be tasty and lethal. They'll usually do one special drink a night in big plastic red cups that are pricey but worth it. The drink varies, but it's always something palatable and far stronger than it tastes.

My favorite places to relax and get a drink are the Sanaa lounge at Kidani Village and the Cabana Bar at the Dolphin. It doesn't even matter what you order. They're just great places to hang out.

You really can't go wrong with mixed drinks at Disney! The best part is being able to drink while walking outside at the same time!

Try the tequila sampler at the bar inside the EPCOT Mexico pavilion La Cava del Tequila.

+1 on LaCava's tequila flight. I just started appreciating (sipping) tequila straight in the past year, and this was an excellent variety!

Oo the tequila thing looks good! Not for me, but for alex. Tequila gets me drunk to fast lol. I was thinking of a wine flight for me. I saw some pics but i cant remember where they were...

I always need my lapu-lapu from tambu lounge in the poly
everyone loves france slushies.
sultan's colada at the Morocco stand was wonderful.
If you are a wine drinker, I have seen plenty of it, but I avoid it mostly, so I can't suggest any, sorry!

Oooo! What is a lapu-lapu?

Lapu Lapu is a fruity fru fru drink that is only available at the Poly. Apparently its yummy, but since I don't drink sweet stuff I can't tell you for sure what it tastes like.

Its food and wine festival time. . .If you are going to WDW anytime between now and the middle of November you need to "try" some of the food and drink from around the world. Head to Epcot, stop at the Caribbean booth and order the torched cherry drink. . .its the bomb. If you want to sit for a bit, try the wine bar in Italy. Its in the back of the pavilion. Head towards Tutto Italia restaurant. Its very near there.

My favorite all time drinking spot is Tune Inn Lounge at the 50s Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios. Its a small bar but the bartenders are excellent and can create just about anything your heart desires drink-wise.

Outside the parks I prefer a nice bar seat at Big River Grille on the Boardwalk. Excellent bartenders and a fine choice of drinks and comfort food.

Enjoy.

I'm not a big drinker but I perfer the bars at the deluxe resorts which is convenient because it's usually one of those resorts I stay in.

Cava del Tequila in the Epcot Mexico pavillion is a favorite haunt of mine ... best margaritas on property. I'm partial to the jalapeno margarita.

I haven't had a chance to check out Tutto Gusto wine bar in the Italian pavillion, but that will chage within the week.

Epcot. England. Rose and Crown pub. Try a Black and Tan. :cool1:

Sooo good and something they don't serve at your local sports bar.

Bumble Bee at Rose and Crown! It's 1/2 Boddington and 1/2 Guinness. I get one every time I walk past that place. LOL.

2nd best is scorpion bowl at the Poly. ;)

SweetMelissa, ITA with the Cabana Bar - DH & I spend every afternoon we can there. We're not even huge drinkers, but when we do, we want it to be delicious. They Swolphin in general is a great haven for cocktail drinkers because they make all their stuff fresh & from scratch - not syrups.

Along that vein - the Zooberry Martini at BlueZoo is insanely delicious.

There is a small menu of fresh mixed drinks at Flying Fish - the Chef's Seasonal Specials or something like that....

Everybody has got to do the Lapu- Lapu once in their WDW Careers. :lmao: Sure it's sweet, but it comes in a pineapple, with a 151 floater :thumbsup2 Nothing says Sunshine like that!

I'm not a huge beer drinker so when I was in England I fell in love with Strongbow cider. I always get it from rose & crown because its hard to find in the states.

Very true. A lot of the bartenders at Bluezoo are competitive, award-winning mixologists. They all definitely know what they're doing, and there's a constant rotation of excellent, unique drinks on the menu there.
