Is there a map or site somewhere that shows how you get from park to park? For example, Get on bus A, go to B, get on monorail, etc. I'm hoping that will help give me an idea of the time I should allow each morning if we want to make rope-drops.
We are staying at AoA, and I know they have their own bus. Going 2/3-2/9, so I'm hoping crowds will be low. We're also taking out 4 1/2 year old for his first trip...any other advice is much appreciated!
You will take a dedicated bus from AoA to each park or other location that is served by resort buses.
(Example: If you're headed to Magic Kingdom, wait for the bus marked "Magic Kingdom.")
Figure that you should be at your resort bus top by 45-60 min. before you intend to be a each park in the morning.
In the case of park-hopping:
There is "direct" (some more "direct" some less) transportation between all the WDW theme parks.
Most routes are via Disney Buses.
Here are the "park-to-park" Disney Transportation direct connections:
>Note: The MK bus connections arrive and depart only at TTC.<
MK/TTC> Epcot = Monorail
MK/TTC> DHS = Bus
MK/TTC> AK= Bus
AK> DHS= Direct Bus
AK> Epcot= Direct Bus
AK> TTC/MK= Bus
DHS> TTC/MK= Bus
DHS> AK= Direct Bus
DHS> Epcot= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
......Boats ("Friendships") make 3 interim stops at the Epcot area resorts.)
Epcot > TTC/MK= Monorail
Epcot > AK= Direct Bus
Epcot> DHS= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
......Boats ("Friendships") make 3 interim stops at the Epcot area resorts.)
The buses have their destinations shown on them on illuminated signs.
The bus stops at the parks are also marked with signage.
As a rule-of-thumb, allow 40-60 minutes to get from the gates of one park to the gates of another park.
