Update on Le Cellier ADR's!

Hi everyone! I went back to my update from a few days ago and added in the Le Cellier ADR's that I have for this trip, if you guys wouldn't mind maybe going back and taking a look at them...I probably should have done that when I wrote the update, but I didn't think of it! THANKS!!! :dance3: It is at the end of the update on Pg 9, written in this green color!

Thanks again!!! :wave2:

Girl, that's a lot of Le Cellier reservations. So, what I gather is that you only really want to keep two of your Le Cellier ressies. Okay, that puts things into perspective more than anything else.

I think.....

Cancel Le Cellier on Friday. Go to Epcot, do F&W and then go to DHS for the evening.

Keep Le Cellier on Saturday. Go to Epcot in the AM so you can make your ADR. Leave Epcot after that to go to MK and then have your CG reservation and see Wishes.

Go back to MK in the morning on Sunday. Do your AM items at MK Sunday (oh, and cancel that Le Cellier ressie, I forgot to mention that). Potentially go to AK in the afternoon Sunday.

Just a thought. ;)

I'm not gonna lie Danielle, I have a problem. An ADR hoarding problem. Especially Le Cellier. :rotfl:

No really, I am going to cancel 2 of them, I just don't know which two. Your idea sounds good, except I don't want to go to AK so late in the day, I have to go to Boma for breakfast before AK so I have to get there early! I feel like maybe just doing MK Friday, eat somewhere in MK, then do Epcot Saturday, suck it up and stuff myself with Food and Wine AND Le Cellier, and then do AK on Sunday. I don't know! See, even typing that out I'm saying "nope, not gonna work" in my mind. I have issues! :rotfl2:

We should make a very special show called "ADR hoarders". :rotfl: You can be on the premiere episode.

I feel the dilemma. I've been in a similar position too. Don't over think it for too long though, because I don't think you'll ever come up with the perfect solution.

This may not even work out, but is there another day you could reschedule Le Cellier for? So you can still get your two reservations? That might solve the dilemma.

Okay, so I still don't really know... but I feel like taking advantage of the F&W is more important! Don't yall pay out of pocket anyway? I don't know how much the prices will change in 2013... so I really don't know. BUT, I know they have a lot of Le Cellier stuff AT the Food and Wine festival, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad canceling one or two ADRs! :confused3

Wow, you weren't kidding when you said that you had a few LC ADR's!!!! :faint:

Okay, my vote pretty much stays the same: keep the Friday and Wednesday ADR, and save MK until Sunday. I think it will be worth it in terms of crowds!

I guess if you really really have to eat at Le Cellier twice, I would do it Sunday and Wednesday. Isn't Sunday the last day of the F&WF? You said in your post how you're worried eating at LC on Saturday will cut into F&W time. So why not just do the MK on Friday, go over to Epcot later in the day when you feel like leaving MK and enjoy the Food and Wine Festival stuff those first couple days?

I know, right? I would totally be on that show! I would hope I'd win something for being on it...like a Le Cellier ADR! :rotfl:

Yeah, I'm trying not to over think this all too much, I mean, it's not the end of the world if we end up doing the wrong things on the wrong days. If I didn't have to worry about that stupid cancellation fee with Le Cellier I'd just say let's do what we want on whatever day, but I have to get this all figured out at least a few days before we go so I can cancel those ADR's and not get charged.

I check every day for available LC ADR's and there's nothing, for lunch or dinner. If something pops up, I'll grab it, but I don't know, it doesn't seem very likely! :rotfl:

I've thought about only going to Le Cellier once but I think Brandon might freak out. :crazy2: We pay OOP for some things, but we are on the dining plan, so we do have to think about TS credits too! *Sigh* I don't know. Basically I have no idea what's going to happen with all of this. I'll probably tell you guys one thing and then do the opposite! :rotfl2:

I know...I also have one for the day we're leaving that I have to cancel because we'll be home already...I just made that one in case we stayed an extra day! :rotfl:

If your plan didn't mean waiting til Sunday to go to MK during the day, I'd be all for it, but I just really don't think I want to wait that long!!! :hyper: I've never had such a problem scheduling a trip before. This is stressful! :crazy2:

Monday is the last day of F&W, they extended it because of Veteran's Day! So we will be going to Epcot on Sunday and Monday too, to go to Food and Wine, so maybe going on Saturday just to eat at Le Cellier won't be so bad...hmmm...now you've given me something to think about! Thanks! :thumbsup2

New Stuff!!

Hi everyone! I wanted to put this itinerary drama behind me for a little while and take a break from the day to day plans (I know, that's sad, only 3 days in! :rotfl2:) and share some of the new stuff I got for this trip! I think I finally have everything figured out, but who knows, tomorrow I might change my mind!

First, I think I mentioned to you guys about having some camera problems a while ago, and never following up...sorry about that! Basically, the camera that I bought last October was great and I loved it, but during out May trip, a tiny piece of fuzz got stuck in the lens. If you go back to my TR, you can see it in some of the pictures, I tried to edit it out as much as I could, but I'm not very good at editing, so it was kind of annoying having this black mark on most of my pictures. :furious: We brought it to a camera shop to see if it could be fixed, and they said we'd have to send it back to the company, which would cost almost as much as a new camera! So we decided to just buy a new camera. I considering getting a DSLR, but since I don't know how to use one, I figured I'd wait. Instead I got another Panasonic Lumix, which is the camera I had last year, except I got a newer version!

I actually bought a Sony first, but I played around with it, and while the pictures on the camera looked great, when you put then on a computer, they looked terrible! So I returned it and got another Panasonic. I'll just have to be more careful with this one...I have a feeling whatever got in the lens is my fault, I kept shoving the camera into my Hipster and leaving it in there, but not in the case...oops! Lesson learned! ;)

Speaking of Hipsters...I got a beautiful new Vera Bradley Hipster for this trip, which I love! It's so pretty!

Isn't it nice? I love the colors! I wasn't planning on getting a new Hipster for this trip, but Vera Bradley sent me a $20 off coupon that had to be used in September for my birthday, so I figured, why not? :thumbsup2

Last but not least, I got new Minnie Ears! I just ordered these from the Disney Store, and I cannot wait to get them!

Aren't they so cute? I have the red ears with the green bow from a few years ago, so I thought I should get these ears too! I'll probably bring both my red and green ears, and maybe even the classic black ones too on this trip! I love wearing ears, and there's no other time in life that you can, except in Disney! ::MinnieMo

Those are my new fun things that I bought for this trip so far! :cool1: I'm sure I'll get a couple of other little things over the next few weeks, but nothing too exciting, maybe some Disney tee shirts or something! :thumbsup2

Up next...back to the Day to Day plans!

Ok, seriously I just saw those ears and said "Awwww!" out loud. I want them! Hahaha I just want a Christmas trip to wear them on. How adorable!
That's a nice little camera, I really like the Lumix line.
I also like your new bag, very nice!

Yay for a new camera! We always have camera drama because I really have no idea what I am doing when I am purchasing one. I think we have like 3 cameras lying around the house not being used. I use my iphone a lot to take photos. :rotfl:

I wonder what would happen if you let Brandon make all the ADRs and plans on one of your trips. I wonder if he would get really into it or just blow it off and say everything is under control and at the last minute his tries to cover his plans. - I am trying to talk Kyle into a short bounce back trip in early April. If it does happen, that will be a comando trip of whatever happens, happens.

That's crazy that fixing your camera would cost as much as getting a new one. That's ridiculous. Isn't that always the case though?

Nice camera!

I love the colors on your bag. I admit, I don't own any Vera Bradley, I'm not a huge fan, but the colors are beautiful.

Those are cute ears! Love it.

Ok we'll that explains what happened to your camera! The lumix takes good pics so I'm glad you went with that one again!

I'm glad you like your new camera!

I LOVE YOUR VERA BRADLEY!!! Gah, I'm seriously obsessed with VB. I have so much yet not enough. It's a sickness! I'm sure you know all about that! BTW, Happy Late Birthday!!! When was it? Did you mention it and I just totally missed it or something? If so, I apologize! But I hope it was great!

LOVE those ears, I saw them on Disneystore.com but they made me sad because I can't go during Christmas this year. Haah oh well. The purple Halloween ones they have are so cute too! I bet you'll really enjoy wearing them!

Wow, you weren't kidding when you said that you had a few LC ADR's!!!! :faint:

Seriously. I think you must be their best customers. Definitely worth a free dessert or something! :thumbsup2

Okay, my vote pretty much stays the same: keep the Friday and Wednesday ADR, and save MK until Sunday. I think it will be worth it in terms of crowds!

Me, too!

Wow - that is such a bummer about your camera. You must hate that you already had to buy a new one. But I do think that camera took great night shots. Seriously - if all you have to do is point and shoot to take those night shots, then its a keeper.

Can't see your Vera, but I'm sure its really cute.

You have a serious problem with booking adrs for Le Cellier:rotfl: Although I happened to see a few pictures on the food thread the other day that had me considering booking it for our trip.

I want to try that holiday sandwich so bad. I wish you could bring one home with you but I don't think it would taste as good.

I don't have any VB stuff yet, but when I saw that pattern I wanted to get something. I don't know what to get though. I was thinking a backpack or tote, but now I don't want to have the same pattern as you. I have issues, I know.

I keep considering a DSLR but can't take the leap. One day.

I know, aren't they so cute? November might be a little early for Christmas ears, but whatever, MVMCP will be going on, and the Osborne Lights, so as far as I'm concerned, it's Christmas season in Disney! :thumbsup2

I loved my Lumix last year, the only thing I wasn't crazy about were fireworks pictures, but I have so many now, that I don't even care if I get any good pictures of fireworks on this trip! I think I'd rather just enjoy the show, you know?

Thank you, I love that pattern!

Yay for a new camera! We always have camera drama because I really have no idea what I am doing when I am purchasing one. I think we have like 3 cameras lying around the house not being used. I use my iphone a lot to take photos. :rotfl:

Haha, I don't really know how to buy a camera either, so I read 1000's of reviews! I try to teach myself about what things mean, but I don't really know too much. This camera got good reviews and I looked at sample pics and they were nice, so that was good enough for me! :thumbsup2

OMG I don't know what would happen! We would probably be eating at Le Cellier and Cape May Cafe every other day! :rotfl2: Maybe I'll try it sometime! Hope you get to go on your bounceback trip! :yay:

LOVE your new purchases!! How exciting!:goodvibes

Thank you, me too! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Nice camera!

Those are cute ears! Love it.

I know, isn't that ridiculous? But hey, I got a nice new camera out of it, so it's not the end of the world! :rotfl:

I wasn't a big fan of VB either, but I love it now! There are some patterns that are hideous though...like I see them and I think "ugh, who would buy that!" :rotfl2:

Thanks, I love those ears!

Ok we'll that explains what happened to your camera! The lumix takes good pics so I'm glad you went with that one again!

Yeah, I really liked the first Lumix I had, and I was playing around with the new one, and it seems even better! :thumbsup2

I'm glad you like your new camera!

Thanks, me too! I hope I still like it when I'm in Disney! :rotfl:

Thank you! I love VB too, I don't have a lot of it though. 3 Hipsters, a make up case, and a case for my Kindle. I really want a carry on bag at some point, but they're so expensive! Oh, my birthday was September 6, I don't think I mentioned it, but thank you! :goodvibes

OMG I want the purple ears SO BAD!!!! Purple is my favorite color, so when I saw those, I freaked out! I didn't buy them right then and there though, and of course, a few days later, they were sold out! :( Hope they have them next year! :rotfl2:

Yay for a new dust-free camera!!

I love your new Vera!!! So cute! And your Minnie ears are SO festive!!!

Haha, yay! Hope it stays that way! :rotfl:

Thanks! I can't wait to wear my Minnie ears! Sometimes I get tempted to put them on at the airport, but I'm not sure how well that would go over with Brandon! :rolleyes1

Seriously. I think you must be their best customers. Definitely worth a free dessert or something! :thumbsup2

Me, too!

Can't see your Vera, but I'm sure its really cute.

Haha, well, I'm not keeping all of those ADR's! Just 2! But yeah...we do go there a lot! :yay:

Yeah, I did hate buying a new one when I just bought one last year, but I'll take better care of this one and keep it in it's case when I'm not using it, and hopefully it will last for a while! I got it at Costco, so it was a lot cheaper than it should have been! I really need to learn what all of the manual settings mean, they're there, I feel like I should use them! One of the reasons I got a Lumix again was because it took decent night shots, I didn't want to be surprised at Disney and get terrible pictures at night if I got a Sony or Canon. The Canon I had a few years ago took terrible night shots.

Thanks! :cool1:

You have a serious problem with booking adrs for Le Cellier:rotfl: Although I happened to see a few pictures on the food thread the other day that had me considering booking it for our trip.

I keep considering a DSLR but can't take the leap. One day.

Yes, I do have a problem with Le Cellier ADR's, I hoard them, I can't help it! :rotfl2: And I keep checking every day to see if anything new opens too, but so far, nothing! :confused3 You should just book an ADR there, just in case we decide we want to go there, it's so good!!!

OMG that holiday sandwich was better than our whole Thanksgiving meal last year! There's an Earl of Sandwich in New York, you know, maybe take a day trip there and get one! Bring Caitlin to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center and go to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular! And then get a holiday sandwich!

I almost got you a VB tote for your birthday, but I didn't know what pattern you would like. I went to the VB store in Farmington when they were having a huge sale, and ended up getting nothing! :confused3 I don't care if you get the same pattern as me, it's a really nice pattern! I want one of the big duffel bags or the weekender someday, to use as a carry on bag. But they're so expensive! :scared1:

Yeah, someday I'll get a DSLR. I'd definitely have to take a photography class if I ever did, though!
