I was able to do that yesterday. Didn't expect too, but he said let me check, and gave me the PAP and refunded me the $42 difference for toe passes. I was shocked. I told him I figured I couldn't do it but he did it anyway. I was very happy and have saved a lot of $$ with the 20% discount already!

If they were new APs purchased just before the price increase then you paid OVER the magic $399 and officialy because of that you won't be able to upgrade. (Gee Pay More and Receive Less!!!!) (If they were renewals you would have been able to upgrade! (Someone explain that logic!!!!)

probably because when you bought your ticket or voucher it says "no refunds" and they have to issue a refund to do the upgrade.

I have a question that may have been answered already - I bought DVC APs (not renewals) in November 2011 (so expire November 2012). We are going back in a couple weeks. I am not renewing because we aren't going back until November 2013 so I will buy the vouchers and hold to get this deal.

My question involves upgrading the current APs. I can't remember what I paid for them, but it was before the price increase. 1 - Is there a way to see what I paid for these, and 2 - Can I upgrade them?

Also, even if you old, the clock would start the day you upgrade, so it wouldn't help you if ou weren't going to be back or a year. That's what I learned.

Upgrades have to be done in person. They can't be done over the phone.

I was able to successfully upgrade our UT park hoppers yesterday to the DVC PAP, the process was very easy and painless (MK guest relations outside turnstiles). Now that I have the pass I am trying to add it to my online account and can't seem to get it. Can someone please help me which numbers/letters/dates do I input so I don't get an error message?

Regular AP's (DVC, FL, etc.) are 10%. The premium is 20%

The previous pricing (prior to 6/3/12) fr DVC APs was $419 adult or $386 child (plus tax.

I'm sorry if this has already been answered... if I decide to upgrade my UT tickets to PAPs, will I have to renew it as a PAP next year? Or can I renew it as a regular AP?

When doing an AP renewal, you can move up or down to any level you are entitled to purchase and you will pay the renewal rate for the new ticket.

Note that if you do the renewal before your expiration date, the new ticket will not be valid prior to the current expiation date.

Yes, as long as the tickets you are getting with the package are $399 before taxes.

Confused..

We are in the World Halloween week and our AP expires in Nov. We go again in March, then will pick Nov. This is our regular pattern.We are DVC members and trying to decide if this is worth it. We usually buy when it is trip time and fit in 3 trips. If we do this and save they would expire in Nov 2013 based on purchase? Right?
