Free airport parking - Offer ended

Ok I really need to get my posterior in gear and look into this but my head hurts just thinking about all the open browser pages. We like to stay night before at gatwick and historically have done as a package although not standard 14 days parking.

We fly out 12/3/13 returning 30/3/13 from south terminal. so overnight on 11/3 for 2 adults + one 3year old.

Am I right you search Monarch to get price then go and search to find exact thing on different site. If cheaper you book with Monarch then send them email with screenshot and they refund and let you have for free?

Tried to explain to hubby but he thought I was insane (no change there then).

This is such a brilliant way to save money...just wish I could find a good deal for our dates but struggling to find anything cheaper (typical!) Could have done with saving some case, particularly as we had to spend much more on the flights than anticipated.

Is anyone able to assist with some good places to look or perhaps, if someone is bored at lunchtime they could help me search?!
Gatwick airport, south terminal, 28 October (about 8ish), pick up 8 November (about 11ish).

Found 2 options:
Again no Meet & Greet unfortunately.
Cophall Farm, Monarch £66 ~ Purpleparking.com £62.95
Airparks (BCP), Monarch £73.99 ~ parkbcp.co.uk £71.99

Double check but either of these should get you free parking.

Correct, follow instructions in T&C's and you should get it free if you can find it cheaper http://extras.monarch.co.uk/airport-parking.asp#terms

Thank you so much for looking, that's very kind!
Not a bad deal at all...worth considering.
The other option I see is to go up the night before and stay in a hotel, as might get cheaper parking this way. Is there a meet and greet available if we dropped the car off on the saturdau night (27th) rather than the following morning?

This is what we are doing. We usually stay the night before anyway and take advantage of virgins twilight check in.

This time we have done the meet and greet (hopefully for free) and will boom the Marriott probably as its in walking distance for about £80ish. Definitely cheaper than booking a package if we get it free.

Had a response to say they are looking into it so fingers crossed :)

We have just booked travel lodge for £38 plus 7.50 parking there and 50p for 15 days at bcp. We got our parking refunded so we have a great deal :-)

We normally stay the night before also. Usually book the Hilton B&B rate with Clubcard vouchers and pay for parking but have now got the free parking through Monarch so will be a free night's stay and parking for us :thumbsup2

Yes Meet and greet is available if you do that.

Aardvark Meet & Greet with Monarch £101.50. Direct with www.aardvarkparking.com £94

I thought about using Clubcard vouchers for the hotel but both the Hilton and Marriott state that you have to book a two night stay, which obviously we don't need.

Sorry, I know this is meant to be about free parking but I'm intrigued now by the possibility of a free hotel room also!! On Holiday Extras they do a free if you can find it for less deal....not sure if this would qualify so wanted opinions before I book. I've seen the same hotel direct via the company for £5.10 less, however, this is one of their supersave, no amendment type rates and I'm not sure if that's comparable (although it should be as it's the same room for the same date). Can anyone help?

Don't know anything about the hotel offer. Can you pay a small fee to allow cancellations similar to the car parking? If you have read the T & C's and you think you have complied then it should be OK.

yeah got free parking for feb 13 aph meet and greet saved £108 thanks so much Wayne for the tip:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

You don't have to do a 2-night stay at the Gatwick Hilton, it's an exception to the rule. We always stay for 1 night and always use clubcard vouchers. You can book online - use code PR20TC in voucher code box.

Thanks wayne.
