PART TWO *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

Woohoo! 59 days.

So I got the answer from Robo about AM EMH - nothing on Main Street is open, including the Bakery. So last night I reworked the plan to hit FL for a hour or so then take the RR back to MS. That certainly optimizes line times for things like Peter Pan so I'm happy with it.

Though it does seem odd that they wouldn't even have the bakery open at that hour.

I saw that. I agree, why wouldn't the bakery be open?? You would think at that early hour people dont have time to eat at their resort first. But I guess if they want to keep all the shops closed, that one is included. At least you know now, so you can finalize that part of plan A.

My To Do List:

-Decide if I'm doing PP+ or not (I'm leaning toward yes, but not 100% yet)
-Keep trying to get ADR for Via Napoli and Mama Melrose
-Get a couple more shirts for the trip
-Get room decorations started!
-Tweek my packing list (I keep mine saved too) to work for this trip

I think that's all I have to do. Besides keep saving so I have more cushion in spending $ for the trip. But that I do everyday I work without having to think about it!

Oh, and since everyone is talking about their teams, GO O'S!!!!

Starting to feel like Wedgie--all these to do lists are making me get nervous and twitchy. I have no idea what I still need to do!!! Let's see:

1) Don't buy anymore Disney shirts.
2) Don't change the resort or ADRs.
3) Make sure we have enough other clothes-besides shirts.
4) Buy long sleeve shirts to go under cute new shirts.
5) Make mousekeeping envelopes.
6) Make final payment.
7) Buy toiletries.
8) Pack.
9) Print all needed paperwork and lists.

Oh man, they're playing my Rangers tonight... We were actually thinking of heading out to Dallas for the game but manfriend is so mad at Hamilton he "refuses to give him any of his money!"... I have to agree a little, don't know how we went from one end of the spectrum to the other in terms of being ahead by so many games... oh well

I'm browsing through the floorplans for Disneys Golden Oak Homes. I can't decide if I would actually want to live in WDW ... would that take away some of the magic, just being able to go a park everyday if we wanted? Part of the excitement of Disney is choosing the resort and staying at a different one. I worry that a community like Golden Oaks would be a little like Stepford Wives

Its a lot to consider. I'm really wasting *cough* I mean taking my time looking at all the pros and cons.

Only one little minor flaw in my plan .... I need at 1.5M for the smallest house besides the yearly memberships etc

When I first discovered Golden Oaks I spent (wasted) a lot of time looking at those floor plans too ... nvm that I don't think we'll ever consider East Coast/Florida living, (and will likely never be able to afford to live in one), the houses and the mouse were just irresistible ...

Or in some cases a 'busted open can of biscuits' top

Yeah, that's almost me right now ... I should put that on my list of things to do before December, lose the 'busted can of biscuits top' ... I'm only about 15 lbs above my ideal weight, but they all seem to congregate right around the muffin area ... I put myself back on a diet about a month ago but I think I may actually have to ... *gasp* exercise to get rid of it!

My to-do list isn't too long ...

• Have to order PhotoPass+ (we love ride pix and are doing 2 character meals, so that is worth the upgrade in itself)
• Upgrade my original Samsung Galaxy to either a Motorola Photon or Galaxy III so I can download TouringPlans app (my old phone is out of memory, and can't transfer to the SD card).
• Have the owner of our first night add and send him $$ for 1 night of the dining plan, which that's the only thing left other than PhotoPass Plus we can pay in advance for that we haven't.
• Make some TouringPlans as a fun exercise in "what we won't actually be able to accomplish" but as a suggestion guide.
• Find an earlier Garden Grill ADR for our arrival day ... 7p is not ideal, but we'll eat then if we have to.

Will be MIA for a bit as I'll be boarding the Wonder on Sunday for a surprise cruise for my DS5, the prices on this cruise were so low we couldn't resist a last-minute in-between Disney fix ... Hopefully this thread won't advance more than 10 pages per day while I'm sailin'! ::

Yes, I bought them for her one year while at WDW. I think I saw them at several stores that sell clothing. If I'm recalling correctly, it was a 2-pack and one of them has a Mickey on it (don't remember the 2nd)

I saw that. Not sure I can do 2 socks that don't match. I would have to buy 2 packs and then match them up.

I did see some cute ones on ebay. Searched under "ladies disney socks". I may be ordering some this weekend.
