i didn't much care for it. didn't find it very funny at all. and if penny breaks up with leonard AGAIN, i don't think i'll continue to watch. sick of her wishy-washiness.

I'll keep watching but agree that it's pretty lame that they are still pursuing the 'Penny isn't sure about Leonard," storyline. It's been done folks, move on.

I did love Sheldon's delivery of the 'please don't hurt my friend" line.

And why is she bored? Cause he's not always drunk and getting arrested?

I, too, am completely over the will they/won't they stay together storyline. If they don't make it and break up again, please just write Penny off the show. I can't handle another season of them not together and her regretting it, but still not getting back together with him and just short of hanging out in limbo.

exactly! for the past 2-3 seasons she's gone on and on about what a great guy leonard is, even telling raj (just before they "slept" together) that she never should've broken up with leonard.
i've watched EVERY episode of this show, but i've had it with her indecisiveness.

I think it was not as funny because I felt so sorry for both Leonard and for Howard. The best part of the show (imho) is that the guys have overcome how people treated them in their youth and found their group that understand them. Now it is like they are back to being the ones that don't fit with Penny being unsure and Howard being bullied.

I just think the NASA bullying is probably really unrealistic. Those teams have to be so tight, and psychologically healthy- their lives might depend on it. Of course it's probably unrealistic that Walowitz would pass the psych screening, so....

Part of me started wondering last night if there's not some plot to kill off Howard. Have an accident during landing, etc. and replace him with Stuart. It just seemed to me that now that he's married and gone to space, his story doesn't have anywhere else to go.

I too am confused about it being about sex. No one was SHOWN in bed together. It was only mentioned that they slept together.

I think what people are referring to when talking about sex is more of the innuendo. there are a lot of sexual references and the one episode that comes to mind is the one where Howard was using the machine he built for nasa for "another purpose" and it got stuck on him.

My family and I quote from this show all the time. One of our favorites is "Milk Duds. The most apologetic of all the boxed candies.".

One of our favorite quotes is, "Well, that's not fancy at all." From when Sheldon had all the cats and dumped some Fancy Feast on a plate for them.

I love Sheldon. I am in the minority but I find something so cute about him. I love him with Amy. Also, really enjoy the relationship he has with Penny. She is so patient with him. My favorite episode is the Adhesive Duck Deficiency..."the hero always peeks."

Maybe they are intentionally making it seem like Sheldon and Penny have less chemistry in order to fuel the storyline about Penny not being sure again. Maybe they will have her grow and realize the difference between real/lasting love vs. a lust/sex based "exciting" relationship.

I do like Howard's beard a lot. It really suits him. Howard being picked on by the other astronauts made me sad though...didn't find it funny.

yes, and not to make penny jealous, as in the past (Priya, anyone?), but to actually let leonard have a real relationship with someone who appreciates him. i feel sorry for leonard, because he REALLY loves penny, and she can't even bring herself to tell him she loves him. i'm sick of watching her string him along.

I agree. I normally love watching the guys and Penny but so far this season not so much. When Sheldon told Penny "please don't hurt my friend" I wanted to cry. Hopefully they do not drag this on all season. Just break them up already and introduce a new girl for Raj and Leonard.

Don't know if they were just referring to the fact that he is shy and geeky and they really don't go after girls for that reason, or if they were referring to sexual preference.
