What places meet the requirements?

Our favorites from our August trip were Hollywood and Vine breakfast at HS with Disney Junior characters and Tusker House lunch at AK. If you want princesses too, I personally preferred CRT breakfast over Akershus.

1. Most Characters/fun environment
2. Good food?

My girls are 4 and 6.

We loved Hollywood and Vine. We went for lunch.

Avoid Chef Mickey. I didn't believe the bad reviews I read so we tried it. The food was horrible. My daughter says "goofy must have made it." It was cold and nasty

1900 Park Faire for dinner! The step sisters are a BLAST!!!

Tusker House. We have been for breakfast and it was alot of fun and I loved the food.

My daughter wants all meals to be character meals so unfortunately I think we have tried them all LOL :)

The fun environment winner would definitely be Hollywood and Vine. They have a dance party with the characters, that nowhere else does besides dinner shows. Very upbeat, fun for the kids to get it on the dancing and singing.

I feel like most character buffets are the same. I can't complain about any of them, and I've done them all at least once.

CRT was more fun than Akershus, just for the wow factor of the castle and the way they announced the princesses and gave the kids wands and stars.

We had a great experience at Chef Mickey's as did our family on a separate trip. :confused3
I always say that the food at Chef Mickey's isn't unique at all, but simple breakfast fare. Mickey waffles, eggs, bacon, pastries, etc. The characters are great.
We haven't had any complaints! pixiedust:

The garden Grill has some of the best interaction, but the food is just MEH. Waaay too salty for my taste..

Our personal fav. now thanks to this last trip is breakfast at1900 park fare..

Tigger, Mary Poppins , Alice & the Mad Hatter were awesome, not to mention the food ....Best made to order omelettes ever... I may try 1900 for dinner next trip..Heard the stepsisters are funny too.

My girls will be 5 and almost 4 when we go :)

We are planning Tusker House B'fast, Crystal Palace dinner and CRT dinner (that one will be on our last day after a BBB appointment)

I thought about H&V b'fast, but my DH, DMother, and DMIL, none of them are really b'fast people. So I figured doing one was enough for us, and Tusker House won due to food reviews.

Tusker House for Breakfast is GREAT!

Dont think that the princess meals are anything special, but if princesses are what you must do - I vote the castle - cause its the castle!

I have never tried Cape May for breakfast but I would like too...

We like Garden Grill (family style meal with items from 'The Land' - the salads were Sooo good! 4 characters (chip, dale, mickey, pluto) visit - multiple times per meal...we like to request a booth on the outside circle) and Chef Mickeys (fab 5)...we have not had issues with the food but we have NEVER been there for the first sitting...I have to imagine that the issue with the cold food is much bigger at the first sitting than later - they are usually restocking everything while we are there to the point where sometimes we have to wait for it (last week we had a 6:15 start and and 8pm start)..

O'hana for breakfast has a fun atmosphere, fun characters, and good food! We really enjoyed the food at Cape May breakfast as well, but the atmosphere was just ok. We were very underwhelmed by 1900 PF dinner.
