Two days ago it only showed rain one or two days now it is showing everyday :sad1: Should I be worried or how accurate is this site ?

I always find checking a local weather station on a local TV station is a bit more accurate; but it is the time of year for it. Also rain often blows through FL; it is not like it is going to linger all day.

Just be prepared for it and you will be fine.

I go the week after Thanksgiving every year and start watching the weather about 10 days to 2 days before and it has never been the same on any given day.

I've never found accuweather to be particularly accurate. I leave Sat and my forecast has changed everyday. Wait about a week then check one if the local stations.

I wouldn't worry too much about this. Right before our trip this past August I was frantic about looking at the forecast. they had predicted 10 out of the 11 days 50 percent chance or higher for rain. Not to mention we were down there when Hurricane Isaac flew through. We had 1 real day of rain for a few hours at night otherwise 3 out of the 10 were roughly 1 hour hits even the day Isaac blew through we were in the park by 12. relax and enjoy the timr from now until the time you arrive. If it's going to rain it's going to rain just enjoy yourself remember you're in Disney. But I'm sure you'll be okay

It will most likely change as you get closer. That's the one thing I've noticed with Accuweather. It can say rain on a certain day, but as it gets closer, the forecast will change and say sunny.

I've found that Accuweather isn't all that accurate.

I have discovered that Accuweather is very much less than accurate. Weather channel has a 10 day up that goes through Oct 13 right now and shows sunny all next week, nothing more than 10% chance of rain. It may change daily between now and then but that's just Florida weather.

You're going top Florida during the rainy season. There is going to be rain in the forecast every day, but it will likely be scattered, short showers.

Even if it does rain every day, you'll still be fine - seriously. I love WDW in the rain :)

I know this is silly, and even I wouldn't want it to rain every day. But I will say, the one day we had an all day rain on our June vacation, was probably my favoriate day!!! It helped with the heat, and we just thew on our ponchos, and enjoyed it!!

I really would not worry. It's "normal" Florida weather...rain is ALWAYS in the forecast when we go, and yet I've very rarely experienced more than brief storms.

If it does happen to be an especially rainy day, we just throw on our ponchos and enjoy the parks with less crowds. It's no biggie!

They really can't accurately forecast any longer than a couple of days - beyond that is basically just a guess. You will find that the forecast will change loads before you actually leave. Pack the ponchos, print the 10 day the day before you leave, and have a great vacation!

I like to call them Inaccuweather...

I definitely would not worry too much about their forecast. It said we would have rain on our trip, and we only saw about one hour's worth the whole time. Just go in prepared for at least some rain, but like everyone says in most cases it usually doesn't last long. Have fun!

If you're looking at a forecast that's more than a couple of days out, don't bother. No one seems to be able to predict Central FL weather more than a few days in advance. Accuweather publishes 15 day forecasts because it draws people to their site. They're about as good as a guess.

That said, there's rain in the forecast every day in Orlando in the hottest times of the year (like now). There's always a chance of a thunderstorm popping up.

You have to remember in Florida at Disney it can be raining in one park and sunny at another. Rain this time of year is usually short lived and scattered. My last two trips around this time it showed thunderstorms every day and all we saw was maybe two pop up showers that lasted 10-20 minutes and were gone. Also....it's rain, no point in worrying, nothing you can do about it, just go with it and have fun. :)

I prefer the Weather Channel website over Accuweather, but you're still more than a week out, so I wouldn't even pay attention to the forecast just yet. Usually 3-4 days ahead of time the weather is pretty well set in place. Even if it does rain, WDW is one of the most rain-friendly places I've been. There are so many attractions that are indoors (and bonus points for indoor or covered queues!) that you don't have to drastically change your plans too much.

Unless I'm seeing a satellite shot of a huge hurricane bearing down on Fla. I trust no weather forecast more that 3 days out, in fact, I like to see rain predicted a week before my trip, that's a guarantee of good weather.

A few years ago - we were staying at Pop - & we had TWO HOURS of sunshine out of the entire 8 days we were there. We used all of our ponchos, went to Goodings to buy more, and still had a GREAT time!

Rain is not the worse thing that can happen. It's ok! You will be fine!

This wouldn't happen to be the May 2009 debacle, would it? We were there for that! That's the ONLY time I've ever seen that much rain there.

This is us as well. If it's not a hurricane, then don't worry about it. It's Florida- I'd be surprised if I went there and DIDN'T experience a little rain.

You won't melt if you go out in the rain. Bring ponchos and carry on. Some of our best park days were rainy ones.

We have been here since 9/29 and there has been a shower everyday but it hasn't been terrible. Except for right now it is pouring, thunder and lightning. The rain seems to happen mostly in the evening which is our normal pool time.
