My solution involves horrible things happening to Gary Bettman, so it's a win-win situation.

Today is my Friday! Going to be golfing at a company-sponsored tournament which is being used to raise money for United Way. Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

On the golf....I've had about enough United Way fundraising for the year. We have to ask for donations to each and every customerm, they are starting to get hostile. They need to change the Canadian fundraising time, because doing it at Thanksgiving when the food banks are also on full drive is too much. Worse of allm the boss in his effort to kiss up is obsessed with it, wanting us to be the #1 store in the PROVINCE!
I guess to a degree it's working, we sit #3, but you can't get blood from a stone, our #s are dropping fast.

Full disclosure here, I'm from Indiana, so hockey falls somewhere behind basketball, football and baseball in sports I give a crap about.

I don't really follow it very closely at all, but is the NHL trying to alienate fans now? I mean, this just happened 8 years ago. We can't even get a decade without a strike or lockout of some sort???

I'm going to vote for whomever hands out BB guns at the IASW boarding dock and replaces the water with beer.

IASW as a shooting gallery would be amazing. If you could integrate space ranger spin technology into small world that would be huge. It would also probably cause Walt to roll over in his grave.

I agree, EE was my first race ever and I loved it! The only thing I wasn't ready for was the heat. Did you do the rapids? That was really impressive in the dark.

We did that was the last thing we did. There were no people over on that side of the park. AK in the dark as we walked over was really neat. EE and Kali in the dark were both really great.

The owners and their little commissioner are taking the fans for granted. They think everyone will come back; the diehards might but the casual fan won't. I expect NBC to be putting some pressure on the owners shortly. They have too much to lose if the Winter Classic doesn't happen.

He wants to cut Federal funding to PBS, but he apparently likes Big Bird and Jim Leher.

The fact that I didn't watch the debate and this is the one piece of news that I've seen from it this morning pretty much tells me that I'm glad I didn't waste my time watching it.

Today we went to my sons cub scout meeting, had a special guest, Basketball legend Jack "Black Jack" Ryan, It was AMAZING all the kids had a great time, including myself can't wait to see what the upcoming meetings have in store

I hear ya. We get email spam constantly from the coordinators here at work. They want to raise over $1 million this year from our 25,000 employees.
