I emailed my AAA agent today to see if he had Passport Plus pricing for 2013 yet.

I was informed (direct quote from e-mail):
Unfourtanetely Disney has removed Passport Plus from AAA for next year. We sell the 5 day hopper for next year here at our travel store.
Adult $275.50 child age 3-9 $256.50

I'm sooo bummed about this! :sad1::sad1:

I think AAA is losing other things like Premier (or is it preferred?) seating to several shows and dining discounts.
Sorry about the bad news.

It comes with free parking, the ticket book for TTMM, MM and preferred seating, plus a pin and lanyard.

You should be able to purchase that booklet at the WDTC in DTD by the DLH.The last posts stated that they were $10 each.No parking included though.

What was the difference between the regular hopper & the passport plus?

The passport plus is like a mini-package, here is what mine in march contained:

Passport Plus Package

5 day park hopper ticket (also have 3/4/6 day options)
free parking at Mickey's Garage
One Magic Morning
Mickey's Toon Town Morning Madness
AAA Diamond Card for Disneyland Resort
Prefered seating at select shows at California Adventure Park (Aladdin, It’s Tough To Be A Bug, Animation Academy, Muppets)
Free Disney Pin and Lanyard

One adult and one child age 7
$455.00 total (spring 2012 pricing)

It also included a photopass card that you can go online and activate so it’s ready to go in the park, or activate at the park if you wish instead. It’s not free of course, you still have to pay when you order but you just have the card itself ahead of time.

The Diamond Card is a discount card:
20% off DL park tours
10% of photopass

10% off at Catal, Haagen Dazs, Jamba Juice, La Brea, Marceline’s Confectionery, Naples, Jazz Kitchen, Tortilla Jo’s
20% off at House of Blues
One free kids meal w/ adult entrée at ESPN Zone and Rainforest Café

10% off at Apricot Lane, Crystal Arts/Arribas Bros, Fossil, LittleMissMatched, RainbowFActory, Sunglass Icon, World of Disney (min 50 or 75 purchase)
20% off House of Blues
$5 of $50 at Lego Imagination Center
Planet Popcorn buy 3 bags get one free
Pearl factory ne free pearl bearing oyster with any purchase of 14k gold setting starting at $19.99

My travel agent warned me that change was coming when we booked back in March. So sorry that she was right. It was really nice, especially the Toon Town Morning Madness (which I've also heard is going away completely).

When I was there last week, we saw alot of people being turned away for magic morning. I heard someone say that you had to have a resort room key. I don't know what kind of ticket or package they had. We had a room key so it was not a problem for us.

Were the people who were being turned away trying to enter DCA?

Last I heard onsite guests are allowed early entry to:

DCA on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday
DL on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

Those with an EE on their multi day ticket can only attend one of the DL days.

We saw it at both. Last week I believe early entry was both parks all days. It was particularly evident at DL on Sunday, we saw several people turned away ahead of us. We had annual passes and a resort key and were let in.

Hmm, regarding hopper tickets with MM, the DL website says:

• Ticket includes Magic Morning at Disneyland Park to select attractions before the park opens to the public on most Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays.

So it's interesting that people were being turned away on Sunday.

Of course I'm obviously not up on current EE policies since the stated policy on the website contradicts what I thought current policy was, plus I had no idea it was being offering at both parks every day.

I seldom have access to any kind of EE personally. I wish I did! So I guess I don't pay much attention to policy changes. Seems it must be at least somewhat confusing if people are being turned away regularly.

This is a very recent change. Started just this past weekend in fact. DL Magic Morning for on-site hotel guests or people with 3-day or longer tickets (hopper or single park per day) is now only available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. DCA early entry for on-site hotel guests only is now Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Edit: BTW, the official Disneyland website ticket page does list Magic Morning as currently available only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Disney isn't always the greatest with consistency though, so it's possible some parts of their website still don't show the updated information.

Thanks for the updated info. We have friends visiting next week, so knowing what to tell them about MM will be helpful.

It also helps explain why DebbieB saw people being turned away on Sunday.

I pulled the quoted (but now apparently incorrect) info above directly from the official DL website too. It shows up if you click on a multi day hopper w/MM. Of course the standard disclaimer that anything and everything is subject to change without notice is also there. :rotfl:

Ugh!

:crazy2:

Gettng OT, but Disneyland blew it again.
It took a couple of weeks for the misinformation on the "Early Admission" page to be fixed. No one on this board had reported this other obsolete sentence. The text is seen when you click on the link of a particular "Ticket Type" with includes Magic Morning:

Ticket includes Magic Morning at Disneyland Park to select attractions before the park opens to the public on most Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays.

What makes it even worse is the bullet point two spots above:

The first visit must occur on or before December 31, 2013. The 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket with Magic Morning expires 13 days after first use or on January 13, 2014, whichever occurs first.

There goes the "We haven't updated ticket information in months" :faint: excuse.

Some folks are going to be :furious: when refused early entry at Disneyland Park on a Sunday.

Yes, but Disney always has this policy quote to point to:

Magic Morning early admission is based on availability and does not operate daily. Applicable days and times of operation and all other elements including, but not limited to, operation of attractions, entertainment, stores and restaurants and appearances of characters may vary and are subject to change without notice. Subject to capacity and other restrictions.

or this one which appears in the terms and conditions that you check a box for and agree to while purchasing tickets:

All features of tickets are subject to change without notice. Other restrictions may apply.

FWIW, I no longer see the wording perlster pasted in from the buy tickets page. Am I just missing it, or could Disney already have removed it?

In any case, the fine print on the initial buy tickets screen looks like this:

* Magic Morning currently allows early admission into selected attractions at Disneyland Park before the park opens to the public on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.

Each member of your travel party must have a valid 3-day or longer Disneyland Resort Park Hopper souvenir ticket from Walt Disney Travel Co. for theme park admission. To enhance the Magic Morning experience, it is strongly recommended that Guests arrive at least one hour and 15 minutes prior to regular park opening.

This is no longer sold. I confirmed this this morning when I visited their office. :(

The Passport Plus tickets will no longer be sold at all after 2012, not just through AAA, but through the WDTC as well. TTMM will no longer happen after 2012 either :(

Wait...so, we can buy a booklet in World of Disney that has TTMM coupons? That's great news! :thumbsup2 I got a hotel-only reservation rather than a package this year (since I bought an AP) but I was bummed about missing out on TTMM.

ETA: Nevermind. This is what I get for posting before reading through the whole thread...
