BCV - QUIET view?

Staying at BCV in March. Last time we stayed at BCV a few years ago, I found it a bit noisy overlooking the "quiet pool". Any suggestions on what to request in hopes of getting some peace and quiet? I really don't care about the view as long as its quiet. Thanks!

If you can get a courtyard view, that should be quieter. We had a woods view (non-Epcot view) and the fireworks each night rattled the windows. And we were on the wrong side to see them. If we had been a few rooms to the right, we might have seen them.

Courtyard puts you closer to the main entrance and the DME activity. The woods view (non-Epcot view) IMO is better. Fireworks only last for 20 minutes, DME is all day until 10:00 PM.

DH is a VERY light sleeper, so we always ask for a quiet view. Usually we get a woods view, down the "jog" that's to the right about half way down the hall, rooms starting with -39. DH's reaction to his first stay? "Wow! I can't believe how qiet this place is!"

Of course, last time I was there alone and there was a little kid in the next room whose parents had the "great idea" to buy him bongo drums (probably at AK) and let him pound on his drums at all hours of the night. But that's not BCV's fault.

Yikes!!! :scared1:

We just got back from BCV we were way down the hall on the 1st floor. Room 149 very quiet except for Illuminations.

lol, the last time we were there we put the same request in & hoped for the best, quiet view/not the side on pool, with the hope that it would be quieter. we did get it, but it was at the far end, by the road so we heard the buses and cars going all day & night. and there was a patch in the woods so the view was just that, traffic. i couldn't help but laugh. :goodvibes
