So my wife is sat on the sofa , AND....she's doing a cross-stitch AND....she's reading our local paper (birth's, marriages and death's ) AND....she's looking at a holiday brochure AND....she's talking to her sister on the phone so I get the TV remote and start channel flicking.........."hey" she says," I was watching that ". Now my wife has only got 2 eyes, on the front of her head, just like everyone else. So how can she do 5 things at once ? haven't even mentioned she was having a cup of tea and a biscuit as well. :confused3

I do this all the time and my husband reacts the same way as you. I get bored if I don't do so many things at once. lol

Yeah but can she do all that and DIS?

I laughed out loud, because this is me. I think it's normal behavior of a woman, at least I tell myself this because then if not I would be abnormal....

It dives my DH crazy....

Your guess is as good as mine. I'll never understand how they do it. Makes my head spin...

Me too!

Yes, that is part of being a woman. :)

And it is similar to when my DH is laying on the couch or bed with his eyes closed and snoring and I change the channel on the TV. "Hey, I was WATCHING that!"

No, you were sleeping!! ;)

I can read my Kindle and relax on the sofa and snack and watch TV. Does that count?

Yes, that is just part of being a woman. :rotfl: We can do all of that AND still remember where you left your keys!:rotfl2:

I never really thought of it before, but we really are amazing! Thanks OP!:flower3:

When I was in high school (all girls), I had a teacher who allowed us to do work from other classes while she lectured because she said women are natural born multi taskers. :thumbsup2

Rolling on the floor here, that is exactly me!

Actually, tonight I've been playing an online game, surfing the forum here, surfing my Radio Control forum, watching the Mike Tyson figh.... er, I mean the debate, and reading the discussion in off-topic of the RC forum on the debate along with talking with my wife through text while she is working.

This is typical woman behavior. Typical man behavior is doing one and only one thing at a time.

Yep - normal for women. I'm always doing a few things at once. My dad is always getting mad at me because I'm eating, looking at the computer & doing something for the kids while taking to him. He'll get all huffy until I repeat back everything he just said.

Men don't get it. Total woman thing.

Tony, I don't know if you and your wife have children. In my case, once I had them, I was amazed at all the things that I could do at the same time. LOL

Well, here's one female who is a terrible multi-tasker. I can do one and only one thing at a time and while I'm doing it, I can't tolerate any distractions. I wish I could multi-task - it would make life much easier.

She can do it because that's just what we Mom's do. We have to keep track of EVERYTHING around us, and we pay attention to it all. All her extra pairs of eyes are covered by her hair so that the mere mortals (men and children) can't see them.
