Dexter Fans? Did you like the season opener? Spoilers!

OMG I loved it.... honestly looking forward to Dexter every week is the only thing keeping me going while I count down to my trip!!!

I LOVED IT! I seriously can't wait until next week! I can't believe Deb! What is she going to do????

Yes, it blew my mind.

Can dexter please kill laguerta? She is the single most annoying character on the show.

Yes, it's the best show on television right now. I have a feeling that Laguerta is going to meet an untimely demise. The only thing that weirds me out on that show is that Dexter and Debra are married in real life and they play a great brother/sister.

I liked it. Laguerta is infuriating, though, almost to the point of not being believable. DH & I both laughed out loud when she found the slide... Like the preening, petty, politician with a badge we've seen thus far would really be the rummaging through charred rubble to find anything the real cops overlooked!

I'm looking forward to seeing how a more authentic relationship between Deb and Dexter plays out. Hindsight is going to make her feel really stupid before too long because she's had some big-time blinders on about Dexter's behaviour, and I suspect she is going to have as hard a time coming to terms with the truth about Harry as she is with the truth about Dexter.

They're not married any more. They got a divorce.

I used to think being married to the person who plays your brother or sister would be weird. Now I think it's weirder that the person playing your brother or sister is your ex-spouse. :confused3

I was all meh about this season opener. I love Dexter, but I didn't feel like this episode felt like Dexter, IYKWIM.

On a lighter note, I met Denise Crosby this weekend, and that puts me two degrees from Michael C Hall (hubba hubba!). :goodvibes I had forgotten that she played his "first kill" but she reminded me. :thumbsup2

I loved it! Seems like the show is getting back into the swing. Last season was my least favorite. Hoping the rest of the season is as good as the first episode.

I thought it was meh as well. I hope they don't turn the entire season into a "Will Deb turn him in or not?" thing.

Dexter is really losing control of his emotions. I honestly think he will be caught this season- and how he controls that situation will be something to watch.

This will no longer be a season where Dexter works, and conducts his "justice" after hours. This season is going to be how Dexter escapes getting caught one more day, one more hour- etc.

I don't understand how creep computer programmer is getting control of his accounts.

Yes, good quote!

What is creep computer guy's motivation? To blow the whistle on Dexter or to ultimately kill him?

I also think Mike's killer's storyline will incorporate a lot more this season too, we'll see how that pans out.

I loved the moment when Dexter walked into his apartment and saw Deb with all the treasures scattered around her. The looks on both of their faces were amazing. And I also can't wait to see how the Kiev connection pans out. And, yes, LaGuerta is highly irritating but she sure is a snazzy dresser! :lmao:

Maybe computer programmer is the killer story line this season.

Dexter made the comment that he slipped by trying to save the Travis and he would not make that mistake again. This makes me think that he has regained control of his emotions. The only time he seemed to lose it was when he kicked the wall to get his escape pack.

Debra has put herself between a rock and a hard place cause she has already covered for him. She knows now that he is a serial killer and that their dad taught him. It would be crazy if she became his partner.

I think that's what he was doing when he was looking through Dexter's side of the apartment when Dexter caught him--he was getting his info.

I'm pretty sure Louis/Lewis (the computer guy) is going to be seeing the wrong end of Dexter's knife by season's end.:rotfl:
