I haven't seen one. I was wondering if it is going to be a season where people do not read the clues.

I think it was a good start to the season - people not reading clues, people not seeing the obvious. Should be interesting...

I thought it was a bummer the one team gave the other team the location of the lady with the abacus then got beat by that team. I know it's for $2 million, but what a harsh way to learn not to share info.

I think it will be interesting to see all the stuff the teachers pull, since they consider themselves to be the biggest TAR fans of all time.

Just happy my show is back - especially since my other show (Who Do You Think You Are?) was cancelled.

DH and I watches tonight. We decided we would never go on the show based on the eating challenges lol. I was almost sick just watching it!

When the team gave the other team the location of the abbacus lady, I shouted: noooo! Never give that kind of info! Maybe later on, you give out select info, but wow, lesson learned.

And Jaymes & James, being the first to get to the location of the abbacus lady, only to not find her. It would have served them right if they'd come in last.

I don't have any favorite teams right off the bat, but I lke the twins. I hope they don't bicker too much. The team that came in first, the guy is into jujitsu - he turned me off from their intro. He seemed too into himself. I figure the goat farmers might not go too far, or the monster truck couple. And the physical challenges may be too much for the teachers.

It was a good start! I don't have a favorite team yet but was not really sorry at who went home.

I liked the twins, but as another poster said, I hope they don't squabble the whole time.

Some of them I can see will not last long at all. It's too soon for me to have a favorite, but I see some good teams. I'm glad it's back!

I only saw the second half...I hope they put it on demand. I thought the couple who lost...the guy was a bit of a jerk...just from the little I saw. The couple who came in 1st because they got the info from the other couple on where the abbacus lady was...that showed what scumbags they are. If I were that other couple I'd give them fake info from now on. It may be for 2 million dollars but coming in second on the 1st episode is not going to make a difference..they should have walked with the other couple and tied them for 1st.

Amy and Daniel are already my favorites. Not a good idea to have told the other team where the Abacus Lady was, but it shows what kind of people they are and what kind of players they will be. Just sad that if they make it to the end, that they can't double the money to 2 million! I already don't care for the rocker/lawyer team and the goat farmers, and while the Chippendale team are good to look at, they aren't the sharpest tacks in the box, lol! I wouldn't have done that roadblock challenge for anything, I can't imagine sitting down to that and having to choke fallopian tubes down!

Why are some folks saying they are racing for 2 million and some saying 1 million...did I miss something where they had to do some task to double their money? I just assumed the whole game was for 2 million, but I did notice that some of the teams are still talking about 1 million (like in the previews where the bearded guy says 'you just cost me a million dollars').

They told the teams that this year, if the team that won the race also won the first leg of the race they would win 2 million dollars. So only the team that placed first yesterday is eligible for 2 milion, everyone else only 1 million dollars

If the team who won the first elimination round also wins the race they win $2 million instead of just $1 million. I seem to remember that a high percentage of the people who win the race also won the first elimination round.

I was surprised to stumble onto the show yesterday. Usually I see the thread here a few weeks in advance. We're slipping people!! :rotfl2:

There are quite a few teams that I could see rooting for. I was sad that the team who placed first had absolutely no qualms about leaving the woman who HELPED them find the abacus lady in their dust. And I was all ready to root for those teachers but I cannot abide liars (they told another team that they saw "nothing up there" when that's EXACTLY where the lady was :furious:) so they can go now. They most certainly didn't have to say "yeah, she's right up there" but they could have said "yeah we found her - good luck!" It's not like they would have lost their lead - heck, look at how many teams ran right by her. ;)

I'm liking the goat farmers and the team who came in second last night. Hoping the chippendales stick around for a bit. As long as the twins can get along (DS and I were both yelling "shut UP" during the ping-pong challenge :rolleyes2), they might be ok.

Glad to see this show back on!

I was screaming at the TV last night, too. They should have misdirected the team that ended up coming in first. And I couldn't believe how dumb the Chippendales were--they'll be out soon if they don't get their act together.

I think the twins will be grating if they don't get eliminated soon.

I am in...I cant believe after all these seasons we still have people afraid of heights, afraid of eating weird foods, and people not reading clues all the way through...they need to watch past episodes LOL

Just watched it on CBS.com. I like the couple that came in second too. The twins will be annoying. They kept calling the ping pong kid a boy and she was a girl...I felt sorry for her having to get hugged by many of the amazing racers (and some were pretty sweaty...ick). I am guessing since Phil said he was going to eliminate most of them that not too many will get a second chance this season. Good, I didn't like when they started doing that.

When Phil said that I was like... huh? Oh, well, yeah!! .... There are only 3 teams that he DOESN'T eliminate. ;) :lmao:
