Watched Avengers on the DVD. This makes my 3rd time, with two at the movie theater. While it is still a good movie, it was even better on the big screen with the the big sound.

Not too much traffic here today. Last weekend of marathon soccer, and then it's off to WDW next week while soccer takes two weekends off for Fall Break. Have a great weekend.

Just finished it as well... :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Awesome movie

Howdy fellow dads, as another part of pretrip, after DD and I cleaned her room, I got her piggy bank and rolled all her change she's been saving for the trip ( getting her a Disney gift card next week) she has $55 in change! She's 4 and has managed to extort with those beautiful eyes $55 from her grandparents, aunt and uncle and of course myself and of course chores and helping to clean her room. And not to mention the $25 gift card her grandma already got her, so she's all set, I know 80 doesn't go very far at WDW but her having her own money/cards will mean the world to her

Evening guys...

Well....didn't get moved again, so still stuck in purgatory. :lmao: Ended up getting the OT I wanted, so kinda tired and back is stiff. Going to take a shot of something to help it along. :thumbsup2

Maybe I'm just a superhero nerd, but I think that was the best movie I've seen all year. Then again I don't get out much.

I agree 100%

I enjoyed that movie also!! Looking forward to sequaqls and more superheros to be added!!

I am as we'll :thumbsup2

That's great....

We do the same with our kids... give them their own gift cards so they know how much $ they will have to spend. And think about what they are buying.

$80 does go pretty far for a 4 year old...

Very well done to you princess... princess:

Good morning dads, she's really excited for the past few months every time she found money or did a chore she would say, I'm saving this for Disney and last night when I told her how much she had she was really happy and finally got to see what all that saving was for. Now just gotta lug all this to the bank to get cashed, any dads know where to get Disney gift cards, instead of going to the Disney store?

I've seen them at eithet Target or Walmart when we cross-border shop, but for the life of me can't remember which

I know you mentioned gift cards, but I try to keep them spending cash, I know it's a hassle, but it's a Dave Ramsey thing. You tend to spend less when you spend cash. I want my dds to have a credit card for an actual emergency and buying things like gas for car, but other than that - cash is king. On vacation, I out everything n the KTTW card, and there is no way I would spend that much if I used cash.

Good news on OT. Bad news on the other.

Greetings from Disneyland, dads!!

Hey Sean. Any pictures?

Someone has a birthday this weekend right :scratchin:

Like Randall said, the are lots of someone's with birthdays this weekend.

Getting ready to leave to visit an exotic cat rescue!

There are many different thoughts, pictures, and punch lines going through my head at this very moment.

Hey guys,

Off the boards for a while. For about a week, the weather down here is nothing but rain. Grass looks green but overall a bit depressing. Was going to go to the Keys for a day but why bother.
."

Good to hear from you. Getting lonely? I'm ready to move the family and I in. You don't care to support us as well, do you?

Home after a long day of soccer. We had an easy win this AM and I refereed two games after that. The second game was really rough and had to call a lot of fouls to clean it up. I really hate to do that. Came home and cut the grass. I am tired. Now, I get to go to a birthday party tonight. When does the weekend start?
