We leave in 3 weeks and I've already pre-paid for the photopass. What magic shots should I ask for and where? We were there 1 1/2 years ago and I got a couple. I don't remember many of the photographers telliing us about them, I asked a few if they did any. I'd love to get more of them. What are your favorites?

Take a look at magicalkingdoms website, the parks tab. You should find a good number of ideas there.

Thanks for this thread.

From those who have done this before, I would be interested in information about any magical shots that you had done. Pictures would be exceptionally nice!

We had one this year we hadn't seen before. On our way to Tower of Tower they did a Magic Shot my kids assumed would be tink because they had them hold their hand the same way. Instead of Tink it was Chip (the tea cup from Beauty and The Beast) n their hands.

Also, has it been your experience, that this is done only by photographers with hand held cameras (as opposed to tripods)

These ones are prob the most common.

also a cute one is holding simba at AK. Look for photopass photogs not on a tripod They told me cameras on a tripod can not do magic shots.

One f our favorites, which was from 2007, so sure if they still do it was sword fighting with Captain Hook. It was near the Pirates of the Caribbean. I am at work, so don't have a pic to attach.

You can see an example of that one at the 2nd link I posted above.

Btw, forgot to mention, if you're going to the Halloween party definitely get a magic shot with the hitch hiking ghosts. You can only get that one during the Halloween parties near the haunted mansion.

When I was there in February I asked every photographer 'do you have any magic shots?' tripod or not. I found that if I didn't ask, they didn't volunteer the information.

The one I was most looking forward to was the shot with the frog from Princess and the Frog. My dd had gone to BBB and was dressed as Tiana. We found the photog ok but the magic shot didn't turn out :(. We got many other great magic pics though!

I've had both.. I've had some tell us to do a certain thing, and others we had to ask.

Yes. One of the photopass photographers actually told us this explicitly, that photographers with tripods could not do the magic shots.

While I was at Hollywood Studios, we got a magic shot of Sebastian by the Little Mermaid show. You hold your hand out the same as you would for Tink. The photographer did say that they are adding more magic shots because people are complaining about the same old "tired" ones.

We were offered this option by a few photographers but that was bac in 2008. Hoping to duplicate in January when we return.

We were lucky to have read about magic shots before our trip! I loved all of ours.

We had a great experience with photo+. When a photog saw our photopass+ card they would make a note of saying "ok! Well let's get our moneys worth and take more than a few shots!"
Which was evident when we had well over 300 photos :)
