We try to make it to November at least, and then push it as far as we can, but anytime after we hit November there doesn't have to be any consultation. Either one of us is free to throw the switch if we think it's necessary.

Enjoy Avengers. Still haven't seen it but it's the DMC selection (DW has an account) and she'd probably turn it down, but the mailer disappeared. :rolleyes1!

Saw it twice at theatres and will watch DVD tomorrow.

you can only get to the very bottom of the tires when the plane is in the air, either before they retract the landing gear, or after they lower it for landing. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

Good to know.

‘Morning all.

I’ve a general question for those that may have ever dealt with such…

I succeeded in upsetting a long muscle or two in my lower back and I’m looking for ideas on topical and/or over-the-counter type meds that will help get those bad boys to relax a bit.

In fifty years I’ve never once had any back issues, then last night I do nothing more then bend over to pick something up and: zamm! It felt like something just kind of moved or shifted (muscle that is, it’s not near any of the bones). So far I’ve just used ibuprophen and rest and it’s considerably better but there’s still some pain to deal with depending on how I move. Any ideas or similar stories out there y’all might care to share?

Chronic back pain sufferer. The heating/ vibrate pad feels great. Prednisone and flexeril are great prescriptions. One exercise I was taught was to try to bend your back the opposite way. I'm sure there is a clinical term, but my stretches include lying on the floor, do a push up, but keep both legs and waist on ground. Hold for 30 seconds to 1 min. Repeat several times. When it flairs up and I can't get on floor, I do the same thing except pushing off wall while standing next to it.

DD got home about 30 minutes ago from an advanced screening of Cinderella. She went with my mom. They said the movie was great but there was nothing added or anything particularly special with the screening itself, but they did walk out with some giftcards for sephora. :confused3

Anyway, I hope you all have great weekends! I have a calm weekend this week- weddings on Friday and Saturday nights. :smokin:

Robaxacet or Robaxacil

Interesting… the folks from the north mentioned this same OTC offering. I looked around a bit for it yesterday and could not find that particular preparation on US shelves (so far anyway). I may look for it a bit more today, but in the mean time I’m actually doing quite a bit better. I still hurt, but I’ve pretty much been in continuous pain for fifteen years as it is, so this is really just one more instance to deal with.

That being said, I’ll most likely go see my doctor early next week if it’s not miraculously all better by Sunday. Given how expensive (and unplanned) that is going to be I was hoping it would just heal up on its own, but I suspect that I have no choice but to incur the debt.

You could always slam your fingers in a door. Then your back won't hurt anymore. :thumbsup2

I’ve done that before actually (although not always intentionally) :rotfl2:
In my house that procedure is referred to as “RSRT”, or…
