I'll find out today if my DH is cleared by his dr to travel on Saturday. He was hospitalized last week with a bad case of bacterial pneunomia and we thought we'd have to cancel the trip (and lose our points since i didn't buy the TI but honestly just thrilled he's ok). Last week the dr said he wasn't infectious any longer but a friend who works for an airline suggested he wear a mask when flying since his immunity may be compromised.DH's getting better but lost a lot of weight and is still getting his strength back and tires easily. I had suggested renting an ECV but he won't hear of it.
It's just he and me this trip and we do have MNSSHP, a F&W Seminar, Aquatica (where I hope he can enjoy the lazy river and wave pool at least) and HHN and RIP tour booked. We'll play it by ear and use old MYW non-expiry tix if he feels up to other days in the parks but I'm doubting he'll be up to it and all the walking.
We are still commandos at heart and don't spend much time at the resorts. Any suggestions of less physical things to do other than hanging at the resort pool? I had thought of Cirque and maybe a movie? Somebody mentioned gatorland, being a small park, but it's been years since we've been there and I can't remember the layout.
