.....My best friend and I couldn't believe they gave us a red flashlight and a red sharpie to write with....lol.....It was so HARD to read those clues!

That is my DH's birthday, and we plan to be there celebrating .........Can someone point me to any race reports from last year ? Is it fun ? Any free food at the post party ?

My DH and I plan on doing this as well this year. It will be our first 5k race at Disney and we are really excited about it. We have just started the couch to 5k program. We figured this would be an awesome reward for ourselves after the training. I really want to soak it all in after watching videos on YouTube. No clue on our full range of dates for our trip just yet as we are waiting to find out host resorts and discount time frames. We plan on going for 5-7 days or so.

Here's mine! 2012 Expedition Everest Challenge - Race Recap

It was a lot of fun, though I think it would benefit from some improvements. Free food consisted of HOT water and Powerade and bananas. That's all I remember seeing. But there were food/ice cream/beer carts aplenty and I believe at least one restaurant was open.

Does anyone know if the "host" hotels are always the same? I assume AKL is always on the list but would last years moderate and value probably be the same?

Hello everyone, I am so excited this will be my first DisneyRun race and I have convinced DH. Also this is the second time to Disney(first has not even happened yet , December 10-15) I was looking at going away for our anniversary the beginning of may and this is perfect count me in!

Just finished my first 5K last Saturday and finished in 49:04 minutes making my pace under the minimum Disney requires so...I've convinced my daughter to do the Everest Challenge with me! So excited!!
