Breakfast Snacks at Johari Treasures - Kidani Village

Hi! I'm heading to Kidani in three weeks - wondering what kind of snacks and food we can get suitable for breakfast from the Johari Treasures shop there.

I know we can refill our mugs there, which is great, but all I remember about the food offerings are donuts, chips, and a couple frozen items. I wish I had taken better pictures of the shop last time.

Also, does anyone know the typical operating hours of Johari - like how early we can go get our morning coffee? :hyper:

Any and all info and suggestions are appreciated! :goodvibes

I to am interested in some reccommendations, I will be there in Oct 17-22 for the first time. :wave2:

Instead of simply bumping, I thought I'd add a tip - to my own thread! :rotfl2:

We have meals at Sanaa and Jiko planned - the rice & meat/seafood curries reheat very nicely for breakfast, and the Jiko cheese plate would be tasty as well. I'm all about early morning alternatives!

But sometimes you want something a little more "breakfasty" and don't want to schlepp over to the Mara. ;)

Anyone else?

I think they had bagels, boxed foods like donuts and so on. You can always take the shuttle van to jambo house for breakfast. We did this only once during our trip. We bought some muffins and also brought a few things with us from home such as pop tarts, bagels and so on.

Not sure if this helps, but they had a lot of white chocolate dipped rice krispie treats and I am not ashamed to admit that I had one for breakfast at least twice LOL!

Johari opens at 7:30. The drink options were kind of limited, but you can definitely get hot coffee or tea.

We are DVC'ers and use Garden Grocer, so we didn't really buy any food there. I do remember pastries, donuts, and english muffins being available.

When we were there they had boxes of donuts, fruit, muffins, cereal, and milk, and if I'm not mistaken they had a freezer area that eggs, bacon, frozen waffles, etc. They had plenty of breakfast items.

The shuttle is a great option, as I like Mara's breakfast so much!

I'm sure I've had some giant Disney cupcake for breakfast more than once. :rolleyes1

Thanks for the opening time!

English muffins - good to know! :thumbsup2

If I only knew how to cook an egg in the microwave (we will have a studio) - I think I shall Google that right now!

Thank you for all the great replies! :goodvibes

I saw some great pics on here of the grocery section, as well as a "grocery list"....of course I can't remember what thread...:-/. Try searching the thread for kidani groceries or gift shop maybe?

The grocery list was on the DVc resort page.

Have fun!!!!!
