I just looked at my photopass+ voucher that I plan to use in December and there is no expiration date on it.
Now before you rush to the photoshops or online to see if those pictures are on your card there can be another problem if you do this. Once you check those pictures only stay in your account for 30 days, and most likely you would of had longer if you waited to check.
Question.... so we have to go to the photoshop to get the + card activated right? What happens if on the way to the photoshop we run across photographers and want to take our pics, do we have to wait, or can we get a pp card from them and get started? I love taking our pic the first day in the front by the giant mickey face, and other characters we run across on our way into Disneyland. Will that be okay? I guess you can still collect other pp cards and put them all together, but you need the + card in hand to do the character meal and ride photos, right? Still trying to figure this all out.
Thanks!
Alrighty then, with thanks to all the previous posters, I will have to run into the parks to get my P+ card the night I get in, since my Goofy's reservation is at 7am the next morning.
Ergh, it's going to ruin my first morning in the parks since I wanted to walk down Main Street and take it all in, ride a trolley, etc, and now I have to rush in the night before. Maybe I can just put on blinders and pretend I wasn't there. LOL! But Photopass is important, so I'll deal.
Hi,
So if I am understanding this correctly, the photopass+ has a 14 day window once activated. Here is my question:
We are going just to the Halloween Party next month but then have a big Christmas trip planned in December. Is it possible to "save" a regular photpass card (not put it into my online photopass account) of pictures we take at the Halloween party and then have that card added to our photopass + package I absolutely intend on getting for our big christmas trip?
I have done this with regular photopass pics before but this photopass+ thing is confusing me a bit. I would hate not seeing our halloween pics till then but it would be a great way to combine pics and save some money
From the day a picture is loaded on a PP card, you have 30 days to enter that PP card number onto your web account.
From the day a PP card number is loaded onto your web account, you have 30 days before the photos expire.
You can buy 7-day extensions for your photos, if it's close.
So if you go to a Halloween Party on 10/17, you must enter those pics by 11/16 (I'd enter them on the 15th to make sure). Those pics would then be on your account until 12/16 or 12/15, unless you bought a 7 day extension. Keep in mind it'll take you some time to edit your December photos.
I'm sure from a sale point of view there is some grace period on loading the pics but what it is and if it the same all the time you might not want to take the risk onThank you for the info!
Hmm..I am thinking I must have hit a glitch in the system. I just entered my PAP photopass pictures from June this morning. I had actually forgotten about them bc we did not take that many but thought I would enter the PP# from my PAP to see if they were still viewable. Sure enough, they appeared in my online account and expire in 30 days.
I am thinking this is not the way it should be and not sure I want to chance it and miss seeing my halloween pics from the 10/5 party, especially since we are going to DL 12/21-12/26 so I wouldn't really be able to stack them if they really are supposed to disappear if you do not load them onto a photopass account in 30 days after they are taken.
I don't think you have to do that. Many posters have told stories of them going to Goofy's without their PP+ card, telling the salesperson they have a PP+ card but haven't picked it up yet, and the salesperson tells you what to do to get your Photo package (hard and soft copy photos).
