Fall 2012=Fast moving Friends, Food, Frights, Firsts and Fun with only Females!

Sounds like Oct 2nd will be a fun day for y'all! And how magical that it is Kira's birthday! We'll be in MK that day, too!

Day 8 - Tuesday 10/2

Ok... with little to no time left I am going to finish this up and sadly...not add pictures.

As Betsy mentioned, this is Kira's birthday. Everything she noted was corrected...except we have yet to plan our time in frontierland/Adventurland.

After breakfast we will want to head that way and ride

BTMRR
POTC
Jungle Cruise
Aladdins Magic Carpets
Tiki Room
Splash Mountain (with a fast pass)

And finally Tom Sawyer Island before making our way to Liberty Square.

In liberty square we will head to Haunted Mansion (that we most likely have done at least once already at MNSSHP) and then Liberty Bell Riverboat.

With some free time we will head to Lunch - and yes, lunch is at CRT. Both Betsy and I hold a reservation. Since this is a credit card guarantee one..one of us needs to cancel. I am thinking that eating at 8am and then again at 1pm is probably good so I am leaning toward keeping mine. Hers is for 2:40. That may be too much time between breakfast and lunch.

After lunch, our plan is to hit HOP. It will probably be pretty warm at this point in the day..and that is a great place to take refuge from the heat.

From there we will have a laid back afternoon. Watch the castle show (Dream along with Mickey) and just kinda hang out.

Around 7pm we will probably be hungry but won't want to eat much since we will have the dessert party. I will have to get some protein in me before having all those carbs though so we will use a couple cs credits to split a couple meals. Maybe Lunching Pad? Cosmic Rays?

After this we will head to Tomorrowland Terrace. Kira is soooo excited for this. She has wanted to do this FOREVER!.

We will watch the fireworks and then call it a night.

Day 9 - Wednesday 10/3

I have to do Tusker House each trip. I also love to get into the park before opening. I have not checked the new park hours, but as of when I booked 8am was pre park opening.

It will likely be only Zoe and I (although I have the ADR for 4).

After breakfast, we will head straight for EE and then Primevil Whirl. (hopefully, Zoe will be tall enough this year to rind PW) Next will be Dinosaur. I LOVE that ride. Recently going to DLR... I was excited to go on Indiana Jones...since they are almost the same ride (only not with dinosaurs) I must say... I wasn't as impressed with IJ! After Dinosaur, I HAVE to make it to FOTLK. I missed it last trip. And did I hear a rumor it is going away? Yea.. can't miss it this trip.

Next up will be ITTBAB and then some free time where we can get ready to use some fast passes for Kilimanjaro Safari.

Then it will be time to leave the park. We will head to Epcot where we have lunch reservations at Chefs de France.

After lunch, I am making Kira (and who ever else is reluctant) see Captain Eo. I finally got to see it in DL. The entire time I was like :scared1::rotfl2::scared::rotfl::eek::scared::lmao::lmao::lmao: I know what parts may scare Zoe now... but seriously I think Kira has to see it. I am just that kind of mom that likes to torture her children. ;)

We will have to stop in Image Works after we most likely have rode Journey into Imagination.

Then some time in Innoventions (will I be able to get that DV photo?)

We will head to Living with the land Boat ride in the late afternoon.

After the ride, we will have dinner at Sunshine Seasons. Remember how I am not big on fish? Well, TUNA is the one exception. In fact, I think I like tuna everything... tuna casserole to sandwiches to yep... cold noodle salad with raw tuna on it. YUM!!

After dinner we will head to WS for a bit and ride Maelstrom and Grand Fiesta Tour.

We will have to grab some snacks before finding a spot for Illuminations.

Then depending on if park hours have held to what they were suppose to.. and we are up for it, EMH is until midnight.

Day 10 - Thursday 10/4

This is the day we check out of POFQ. I am not sure if we will get to rope drop or not. I have set up 2 plans...

one if we arrive by 8am

We will start out the morning again in MK. Since I most likely have yet to get a cinnamon roll at Main street Bakery... this is on my list!

We will be hitting Tomorrowland!

TL speedway
Astro Orbiter
Buzz lightyear
Stitch's great escape
Monsters laugh floor

and finally the people mover. If ridemax doesn't fail us we will be done in Mk by 10am. Then we have a free afternoon to do whatever.

And one if we arrive by 10am

Still will need a roll at the bakery

Then we will hit

the speedway
Stich's great escape
Monsters laugh floor
Astro orbiter
People mover

use a fast pass for Bus light year

and be done by 12:30

Our free afternoon will mean we will head to AoA. Yes, did I forget to mention it? I booked a room only for one night at AoA in a LM room.

We will head there and have lunch at Landscapes of Flavor and check in.

After we check in and explore the resort...we will head to back MK to ride COP and Space Mountain. When the park closes, we will hop over to the Poly to have dinner at Kona. This will present some challenge since we will have to then find a way to a park that is open in order to get back to AoA.

Day 11 - Friday 10/5

This is our departure day. Hopefully we will have everything ready to go since we will be waking early. By early I mean 4:30 am! We will check out of AoA around 6am and board DME around 6:30.

We will have something to eat for breakfast at MCO while we wait to board our plane.

Our plan leaves at 9:25am arrives Kansas City at 11:20am. Lunch will be in that airport. Then we will leave KC at about 2:45 (keep in mind time differences) and we will arrive seattle around 4:30 where we will wait to be picked up.

IMMEDIATELY when I get home I will be working. I am just praying it is a light ad cycle next month. Working on the 5th after getting up at 1:30am PST is going to SUCK! If I can tell the cycle is light enough I might... might just wait until saturday to start. Who knows...

So it may take me a bit once I am back to start a TR. I hope you are all able to join me once I do. I will be sure and post a link here :goodvibes

That's pretty early to get up! I will look fwd to reading your tr. I understand it may take you time since you've been writing a ptr or tr for a while now!

Just a word of caution- and maybe I was just in a small terminal? But last time I flew through KC (on US Airways) it was a small airport, with few food options, all of which were outside of security :/

Just as an FYI, again maybe I was in a smaller terminal.

Yes, I realized this. In december, our layover was there and basically there was NOTHING. Some stands... but no "real" restaurants. I wonder if we shouldn't pick something up while in MCO...or even drag something from AoA.

Yes, early on the way down there too... Kira and I were talking about the way down and she is thinkin we can get away with showing up at 5am instead of 4:30am... but planning to be on the road by 3:30am is probably the better idea since inevidably we will run late

And..yes... still gotta finish my DLR TR... and then start a PTR for Feb..maybe And there is also a fall 2013 that has started.....

:faint: I was so NOT a fan of Captain EO, so I am glad you are not my mom! :rotfl:

Your Day 8 and 9 plans sound great! Busy. Busy. Busy! :cool1: Can't believe you are leaving in 3 days. If I don't check back, have a wonderful time. Can't wait to hear all about it!

I haven't been receiving updates to your thread. I must have unsubscribed by accident when I thought I hit last page. Now I have lots of catching up to do.

Ds and I will be staying at POP Sept 30-Oct 2.

I am going to start making TH a "must do" as well. We didn't do it the last trip and I missed it! I hate that Donald isn't in the restaurant anymore, but I suppose I can live with that fact in order to see the characters in their cute safari outfits, right? I can't believe your trip is so close! I am off the DIS for weeks and all my PTRs are turning into TRs, LOL!

Flight check in

Well the good news is it is done.

The bad... well, not bad...just frustrating. I had 4 people to check in..I thought. So I had 4 screens up. Really, all I had to do was check three in since 2 were on the same reservation.

Course, I knew this happens... you have multiple screens up...each confirmations sitting and waiting (yes, remember flying southwest have to be on RIGHT at 24 hours) So I click the first and bam... got A for all legs. Then I click the next and the next... all seems to have gone through to check in. :headache: Nope, now they all sit with boarding passes for the 2 (at least it was the two on the same so I got them both theirs) Before I realized group A had filled for the leg down. (only barely though)

So Amanda and Kira hold A for both legs while Zoe and I each are B (B6 and 7) for the flight into St Louis and then A from there to MCO. I am not sure it really matters since I will likely be able to get preboarding for Zoe and I anyway. And...if I can't. I assume B6 isn't too bad.

I don't know how exactly they do it? I have only flown SW the one time and Zoe had preboard status due to her medical stuff. Do they call sections of each group? Like A1 to A25 and then A26 to A50 (as an example) or do they just call up all of A then all of B..ect?

Oh well, guess we will find out soon enough since we will be in the air 24 hours from now!!!

In the airports where I have flow SWA the have a line with a light up sign at the front that has A 1-25 on one side and A 26-50 on the other side, then their are additional makers every 5 numbers. AFter the first group of A people board then the light on the sign flips over to B1-25. I honestly don't know if its like this everywhere, but its pretty easy to find your spot in line without stalking it.

I hope you have a wonderful trip. 12 days in the world sounds like heaven! Enjoy!

The rest of your days look good! :thumbsup2 I can't wait to hear what y'all think of the Little Mermaid room at AoA!

If I don't talk to you....y'all have a safe & magical trip! And maybe we'll see each other!! :goodvibes

In St. Louis it is people who need assistance and families with children to board first, then A 1-30, then A 31-60. Then the B group, etc. Most of A is the people who have ?Business class and the people who paid the extra $10 for early check-in. Hope this helps!

So you make your poor daughter watch Captain Eeyor! (or Captain EO - both are not MY favourites :rotfl2:)

Your experiences at check-in sound NO fun at all. Checking in for SW sounds complicated! :scared1:
But at least it's done and you will be on your way in no time. :woohoo:

Have a great flight tomorrow and a wonderful vacation! Hope you get all the seats sorted on the flight. That sounds so frustrating.

Safe travels, Ann and family! Hope you are having a lot of fun and come home with lots of magical memories! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:
