Everything is up in the air right now, I am ok but have been really busy and just suffering from a general don't give a SH** right now.

hello my friends, we arrived safely last night but a little late due to the storms in the south. Then we had to sit on the tarmac because they didn't have a gate for us. Lol.
Today we got up around 8:30 pretty good for a first day and 3 hour difference. Had a quick breakfast in our room and headed to the magic kingdom. We were all ready for rain and not so great weather...it was a beautiful day. Partly sunny and no rain at all. Just rather hot and steamy. Hit all the big rides except for splash mountain...maybe tomorrow. Had lunch at pecos bills for the first time, amazing fixin bar!

The wireless is a bit here and gone. Hope this posts. I will go back and read to catch up. Hope you all are doing great.

Weather just said the weather tomorrow is rain in the afternoon then sunny through next week. Woohoo isn't that awesome.

One more work day here on the Base, then I am headed home tomorrow! Will have 3 whole days to get things caught up, then back on the road until 10/6. Then............ one day till WDW!!!!!

....well, I know it's not OPEN-HEART surgery, but there is still much risk involved.....I was looking for anyone who may have gone through this and could talk frankly about the re-coop time, what to expect, any side-effects, could this 'growth' come back, etc....

Thanks everyone! It was actually yesterday. I just made a small post about it on FB, really more politically motivated than anything else, but the results have been heartwarming, and all the comments have made my day today. Just by a strange twist of fate, we will be having dinner tonight in a restaurant on the site of our wedding reception. Corinna had breakfast there on her last trip. I haven't been since it opened a couple years ago.

Totally OT: I just saw the shuttle fly by my house! The Queen Mary was one of the flyover spots (as was Disneyland), and we are close enough to the QM that we could see the shuttle in the airspce near our house.

I can't wait to hear what you make of it. We loved our breakfast there.

It must have been amazing for the lucky people who witnessed the shuttle flying over either the Queen Mary or Disneyland, but having it fly over your house is awesome, too. Friends of ours live very close to WDW and they had the same experience the other day.
