Chapter 96: Back at the Frump Homeland
January 1st, 2012
We walked out of Japan and headed towards the international gateway. There were still two deluxe resorts that we didnt get to visit yet The Yacht Club and The Boardwalk. We had to see all of their Christmas Decorations before we left!
I was worried they were going to be down since some of the Epcot décor was gone already (on January 1st!) but everything was thankfully still in tact! Perfect!
We started at the Yacht Club and I got super nostalgic. That frump trip in January 2011 has such a special place in my heart because it really was a monumental point in my life. It got me back into my Disney groove and helped me make my way on disboards. That trip set up a lifestyle of Disney loving and Disney writing, and it all started at the YaCHt Club. Plus, I got to go to Disney with two of my best friends and stay at a deluxe resort for my high school graduation present. It was when the frump phenomenon truly began. It was just AHH. I cant even. I loved it. That was an absolutely amazing trip that I will never forget. It's the one that started it all!
I walked into the Yacht Club and we looked all around at the beautiful decorations. They were awesome. The whole of that place is so elegant, relaxed, and classy. You could even say business professional... but on the leisurely/nautical side. I love it. AHH I JUST WANNA STAY THERE AGAIN.

We had to actually get our boarding passes printed for our flight the next day at 2:20, but it was about 2:08 when we arrived so we had some time to look around.
We looked and we found the AMAZING Christmas Village display. Oh my gosh it was SO CUTE!
They had little signs for like Cape May and different Yacht and Beach Club amenities.
There were those little Mickey Village statues in there, too! It was awesome. The whole thing was just so beautiful and very extravagant.
Mom went to get our boarding passes printed at the concierge, and I chilled out on the couch and absorbed the atmosphere. It was just so great to be back. I hope to God I get to stay there again some day!
Gotta love Disney rugs!
We ended up getting like A-1 Business Select seats for our plane the next day, which is so cool! We didnt even pay extra or anything. My Mother just was extremely punctual! Way to go!
Now that our flight was taken care of, time to take more pictures!
We made our way outside. When I went to Disney in May, I realized how much I really miss the poinsettias. They truly bring so much life to the parks and resorts because of their bright color.
I LOVE YOU FRUMPS! <3 And the YaCHt Club!
So once those were all set, we headed out and made our way to the Boardwalk. That was the next place we needed to see!
I really have not spent much time over at the Boardwalk but I really need to. Its one of the few places in Disney that I have not thoroughly explored. I love how there are like little carnival games, entertainment, little shops, a bakery and restaurants and EVERYTHING! Its just so cool.
We went into the store to go look for a sweatshirt for Nana, but we didnt find anything. However, I DID find Disney food pins. HOW PERFECT ARE THESE!? I want them so bad, but I didn't feel like dishing out the cash at this point.
Then we went up to the Lobby so we could see how Disney decorated the Boardwalk!
