Can't get a straight answer- AoA

I searched and searched but to no avail. I have a few questions about the Art of Anim. Resort.

1) do they provide coffee makers in the rooms? Lady at Disney said yes, one poster here yes, others no. If so do they have tea options, like twinings? Sugar?

2) do they provide lotion or conditioner? Will room service bring it if requested?

3) how long do buses take? How much time from AoA to parks?

4) we have refillable mugs thru dining plan. What are our options? We do not drink soda.

5) how has weather been?

6) is mnsshp worth it? I love halloween, husband is leaning towards la nouba....thoughts?

Will be arriving on Sat and cannot wait!! Hoping for a coffee maker to save on buying at resort. Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

Room service provides food. I don't think AOA has room service. You need to contact housekeeping for things like shampoo.

No value hotel offers a coffee maker, only a small fridge.
You can get coffee, tea and hot chocolate in your mug, as well as lemonade.
I do not remember receiving lotion or conditioner when we were at POP, only soap and shampoo.

1. Family Suites in Finding Nemo, Lion King, Cars Buildings - Yes
Little Mermaid Standard Rooms - No

2. No lotion or conditioner, just soap and shampoo.

3. Buses run about every 20 minutes, about 10-15 minutes to the parks depending what one you are going to.

4. There's coffee, tea, lemonade, Powerade, Hi-C

5. Weather has been mid to high 80's to low 90's during the day and low's around 70. Chance of an afternoon t-storm is always a possibility during this time of the year.

6. Have never been but have always heard great things about it. I'm sure other DISers will be able to chime in.

La Nouba is awesome, but it is a lot more money than MNSSHP so not a fair comparison.
There are a lot of threads about MNSSHP. We love all of the parties, they are great fun and usually not very crowded.

The shampoo is a shampoo/conditioner combo.

No coffee maker at Little Mermaid. Yes for the family suites though.

No conditioner or lotion at the values. Shampoo/conditioner combo only.

Bus waits and travel times can vary drastically. The usual travel time to parks would be about 15 min to MK, 10 to DHS or Epcot, 12-15 to AK. That's just time while the bus is in motion. DTD usually takes some time because they go around the back way. You may end up waiting up to 20 minutes for a bus so if you need to be somewhere make sure you take wait time into consideration. If you are using WDW transportation to go between resorts, give yourself at least an hour.

They make a single cup at a time. There are coffee and tea pods provided as well as cups. I don't recall if there was cream/sugar because we drink our coffee black

2) do they provide lotion or conditioner? Will room service bring it if requested? They do not provide lotion. The shampoo is a shampoo/conditioner combo. I wouldn't think they bring you lotion, but I've never asked for it.

3) how long do buses take? How much time from AoA to parks? We had excellent Transportation. We never waited for a bus and our average ride was about 10 minutes to each park give or take a minute or two. I think they take different routes throughout the day because we went to the magic kingdom and got there in 10 minutes but it took 16 or 17 upon return

4) we have refillable mugs thru dining plan. What are our options? We do not drink soda. For the mugs you can drink powerade, light lemonade, and 4 flavors of iced tea, what i really enjoyed about the food court was if you use you QS credit there you can get Honest Tea in the beverage coolers and I love that drink!

We were at AoA the last week of August, I answered your questions as best I could above in pink

*ETA, I didn't realize you were in the Little Mermaid Section...I can't speak to coffee makers there. I'd assumed they had them, since they put them in the rest of the resort...but it appears that they don't. Maybe it's a space issue?

Indeed. No coffeeakers at value hotels. No lotion either. Shampoo and conditioner is usually combined.

Except for the suites, they do have coffee makers and a fridge with a freezer section.
